The MAGA crowd certainly easily falls victim to grifting. How can a group of people be this dumb. Right-Wing Websites Connected to Former Trump Lawyer Are Scamming Loyal Followers With Phony Celebrity Pitches A mysterious network called AdStyle is placing ads with fake endorsements from celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Elon Musk on conservative sites based in the U.S. and abroad. https://www.propublica.org/article/right-wing-websites-scam-readers-phony-celebrity-pitches (Lengthy article outlining the grift).
New day, new grift. MAGA idiots rushing to buy pieces of his suit Trump wore when his mugshot photograph was taken in Georgia earlier this year. 'I hate this so much': Ex-Trump aide begs people 'not to support fraudsters' and 'losers' https://www.rawstory.com/loser-trump-suit-sale-alyssa-farah/ Former President Donald Trump is selling pieces of his suit he wore when his mugshot photograph was taken in Georgia earlier this year — and his former communications aide Alyssa Farah Griffin is upset that people are falling for his scam. Thus far, Trump has spent over $37 million on legal fees, with another $130 million in donor money being steered to the cost of his trials. He announced the suit sell-off Tuesday as a way to cover the costs. Meanwhile, former Rep. George Santos (R-NY) is selling himself on Cameo. At first, he quoted $200 per video. It was then increased to $400 and now he's up to $500 per video. "I hate this so much," said Griffin. " ... Do not support known fraudsters by paying money to — The Cameos I've seen are kind of funny, but this is a man who defrauded a veteran's charity, allegedly. He's violated federal laws and then the other known fraudster here, Donald Trump, I mean, this just shows how ridiculous our politics have gotten. All about enriching himself and staying out of jail." She went on to say that she was struck when she recalled that Trump hasn't won an election since 2016. To put it into a historical context, that was prior to Apple Airpods and Fortnite. "He's a loser!" she said of Trump. "My point being: he's a known loser, he's lost consistently for the GOP. He is bad for the country and it's time to move on." Sunny Hostin, however, considered that the reason that Trump might be selling off parts of his clothing could be financial desperation. "You know what it showed me? He's really broke and doesn't have any money and is not a business person. When you have to sell pieces of your suit that you wore during your mugshot, you know, for criminal charges? Like how low can you go?" It was reported on Tuesday that Trump used his legal defense fund to pay for a huge party at Mar-a-Lago. Thus far, Trump has spent $2.5 million on expert witnesses.
Thus far, Trump has spent over $37 million on legal fees, with another $130 million in donor money being steered to the cost of his trials. He announced the suit sell-off Tuesday as a way to cover the costs. How much has the Government spent of our money on this case ...My guess is at least 200 million....outrageous for the alleged crimes
So Trump has not spent a dime of his own money on legal fees. He grifted all the funds from his MAGA donors. The $37 Million he spent came from donors -- but you failed to mention that. That $130 Million being steered to legal fees -- well as documented previously -- Trump has spent most of that on himself. All part of his grift. It is important to prosecute criminals for their crimes. Trump will be found guilty on most of the counts once these cases land up in front of juries. We understand that the MAGA crowd does not like our legal system -- unless it is prosecuting Democrats. However a proper legal system is one of the underpinnings of what makes American democracy survive as per our constitutional standards.
Is there Judicial discretion. There is only so much money to spend on crime....How should spending be prioritization Should we pay to lock up felons caught with guns or spends the whole budget on a first time defendant
