That was quite predictable by anyone who can think. In the end everyone gets what they wish for and work towards to. Perhaps all those available blue collar jobs now need to filled by Asian and African workers than central Europeans and the finance educated Scandinavians and central Europeans now work in Paris, Geneva, and Frankfurt.

  2. But Old Europe lacks such visionary personalities like Elon Musk and Jack Ma... :)

  3. Not true. They just aren't as famous. Look at the Quants f.e. or the founders of Lieferando, Zalando and so on

Agree, a lot of the fame is taken by those who publish ideas and products rather than those who create them. The perhaps most complex computer game and simulation in history, flight simulator 2020 was entirely written and created by a French coding house, Asobo. Mind you, the game is published by Microsoft and everyone thinks it's MS that created it. Most of the car industry, technology wise, is dominated by European players aside Tesla. Most computer intrusions and hacks are detected, analyzed, and published by European firms. Most innovations and new technology in civilian aviation are dominated by European manufacturers, whether it being instruments, the airplanes themselves, or the engines. That includes helicopters. Most precision instruments for scientific research originate from European middle sized companies. European household appliance are light-years ahead of those in North America (though the dominating player here is Japan, a nation that also prides itself in engineering and high tech ingenuity without the loud mouths of some elites with small dick)

Shhhh!! Stop speaking the truth already!! Yes @earth_imperator is right. The only visionaries are either Chinese like Jack Ma or pro-Chinese inventors like Elon Musk. Everyone else is dumb. All bow to the Chinese!!!

Nowhere does it say they are moving to China. Except for the Spiegel article, none of them are even talking about relocation. Only production cutbacks are mentioned.

  7. Not true! Read again.

The 2nd sentence of the Spiegel news says "Etliche Firmen erwägen demnach, ihre Produktion zu drosseln – oder sogar ins Ausland zu verlagern."
Translation (by yandex.com): "A number of companies are therefore considering curtailing their production - or even relocating abroad."

And the Welt-article says "In der deutschen Schlüsselbranche Automobilindustrie haben laut einer DIHK-Umfrage bereits 16 Prozent der Hersteller ihre Produktion verringert. 17 Prozent wollen ihre Produktion verlagern."
Translation: "According to a DIHK survey, 16 percent of manufacturers in the key German automotive industry have already reduced their production. 17 Percent want to relocate their production."

  8. Sure, as long as the wind blows continuously and they figure out how to make and replace windmills with zero fossil fuel use.
Your scenario is a fantasy, sorry. I wish it were possible. But it isn't.

I did say Spiegel article being an exception. Ok I missed the Welt article mention but in neither of the articles is it written that 'most' of the companies want to relocate to China. Doesn't get into specifics.

  10. Man, think a little bit logically: where else would they go? Europe? Nope! :) North America? Nope! Look how the American courts fu*k Bayer, Deutsche Bank, VW etc... again and again, serial raping :). One really must be mentally ill to go to this US :) What remains is really only China as it's ideal for business: cheap workforce, good education, good universities, good infrastructure, no strikes, ideal business environment, China has access to all Russian resources, unlike the West... etc. etc.
