More than 500 economists, 5 Nobel laureates back Romney’s economic strategy

  1. You're right but it's a little late now that we've sent all our manufacturing elsewhere.

Like many of our most serious problems, the political elites on both sides of the aisle worked together to screw ordinary Americans. Republicans liked the idea of making stuff using cheap foreign labor. Screw the unions. Democrats regard manufacturing as dirty and an environmentla disaster under the best of circumstances. so they were only too happy to see it go, particularly if a communist country would prosper at our expense.

  3. We are past the Event Horizon, CO. The greatest patriot of our time will go down as H. Ross Perot. He warned us of the black hole, we did not listen.

  4. Actually, I think it would be great if the Tea Party charged, torpedoes be damned!

Why? It will further enhance this election as a choice election. Our nation is going one of two ways. It is the second battle of Gettysburg.

    500. That's what, nearly 5% of the US's economists!?

Anyway, while we're playing ad populum, let's revisit the manmade global warming debate. : )

  6. Huh? Mainstream Republicans are falling like flies to these guys. Their problem is they rarely win a general, only the primary. Same pattern as the ones who used to be backed by the Club for Growth (actually that group is probably backing the same candidates as the Tea Party folks).
Elections, general ones that is, are their problem, not the media or their enthusiasm level.
