Trump is taking on the whole world eventually this will break him just a matter of when. The opposition to Trump and gang is building on so many levels and tactics are getting better.
Do Elite Universities Really Wish To Fight The Federal Government? The Supreme Court in a recent case ruled against Harvard and the University of North Carolina, stating that their use of racial and gender bias is illegal under the 14th Amendment and thus affirmative action and associated racial essentialism are forbidden. Yet, many of our campuses simply rebrand their offices of “diversity/equity/inclusion” —the campus euphemism for using race and gender bias in applications, hiring, retention, and promotion—with newer Orwellian names like the “Office of Belonging” or “Community Outreach.” Universities are higher education’s version of sanctuary cities that likewise cavalierly believe they can largely ignore federal laws with impunity.
Trump Admin Targets University Accreditors For Their DEI Activism “A group of higher education accreditors are the gatekeepers that decide which colleges and universities American students can spend the more than $100 billion in Federal student loans and Pell Grants dispersed each year,” the order reads. “The accreditors’ job is to determine which institutions provide a quality education — and therefore merit accreditation. Unfortunately, accreditors have not only failed in this responsibility to students, families, and American taxpayers, but they have also abused their enormous authority.” “Some accreditors make the adoption of unlawfully discriminatory practices a formal standard of accreditation, and therefore a condition of accessing Federal aid, through ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ or ‘DEI’-based standards of accreditation that require institutions to ‘share results on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the context of their mission by considering … demographics … and resource allocation,’” the order continues.
Are universities and companies moving on to MEI -- "merit, excellence, and intelligence"? Not so much. What is MEI? It’s the ‘new corporate rage’ as DEI dies, says a Harvard economist — but surveys show companies, majority of Americans still support DEI https://moneywise.com/news/economy/...ate-rage-as-dei-dies-says-a-harvard-economist
