I don't personally know anyone that caught this virus. The closest I've come to this virus is I have a relative that has a coworker who has a husband who has a coworker in the same company that caught it. And what do you know, they're still alive! More people have been killed by car crashes this year than CV. Do you consider car crash deaths to be people "dropping like flies"? Sorry man, you been caught up in mass hysteria. Look at reality for a minute. How many people do you know that has died from this personally? Probably none. And if you do know someone, I'm sure you don't know enough people to say your friends and family are dropping like flies.
It depends on your neighbourhood, if high density or a bit of a grubby place one would require extra precautions. I think climate may also make a difference. In Australia, Northern Territory, hot, humid, not high density, they have the lowest rate, 28 cases, 6 recovered, 0 deaths. 3381 tested.
My former neighbour in Melbourne took took his Mom to the hospital nearby (Carnegie) for a broken wrist. They were also tested as a matter of fact. Both are old, she is 94. Neither had symptoms. How accurate is this information? These are very impressive numbers of companies that have gone bankrupt. Truthfully, this whole situation with COVID-19 is just terrible. Many people are out of work and can't even feed their families. My friend is currently in quarantine, but he still has substantial debt to the bank. So far, the bank hasn't taken any action in connection with the situation, but it's threatening to take his house away.
