Great points. My suggestion for starting to change the system would be as follows: 1) Congress needs to be a part time job. 6 months max then the rest of the time is spent at home. 2) No active member of the Bar can serve as an elected representative (seperation of powers). 3) Public finance of campaigns ONLY. No PAC money, no Party money, etc.
