I doubt that matters. If someone is following you by car then gets out and chases you on foot martin had every right to fear for his own safety and throw the first punch just a rape victim would be allowed to defend herself if being chased by an attacker imo.The 911 tape is proof that Z instigated the whole thing The factor that will decide this case is what evidence regarding Shady Z's character will be allowed in imo If he beats this case a federal case is next imo
Actually you better read the law. If someone follows you.. you DO NOT have the right to throw the first punch. This has been explained very clearly in the context of the law in Florida and most other states. Otherwise... every time I walk down the street in Miami and there are a hundred people following me - I would have the right to punch each & everyone of them. Sorry this is not how the law works. I only have the right to defend myself if I am PHYSICALLY assaulted. I do not have the right to punch or assault someone if they follow me, or yell at me, or I simply don't like the way they look. The only exception to this rule is if you have a legal protection order against a particular individual.
There is a difference between being followed and being chased.Martin wasn't being followed by a crowd of people in the daytime on a crowded Miami street,he was being followed by a strange guy at night.Martin had no right to hit Zimmer when he was following him in his car, once Z got out of his car and starting RUNNING after him any person would be afraid for their safety and have the right to defend themselves. Martin tried to avoid the situation by running ,Z was the aggressor,Martin had the right to defend himself imo
You better read the police report. There is NO evidence that Zimmerman was running, he was walking fast. Zimmerman was coming back (returning to his car) down a sidewalk in the center courtyard when Trayvon confronted him at a T sidewalk intersection. Trayvon did not run away, he stopped and waited for Zimmerman. If Trayvon was really concerned for his safety, he would have kept running all the way to the townhouse, and not stop.

This is coming from the guy with a criminal complaint of assaulting a female, assaulted a law enforcement officer, former employees say was a bully and trouble maker, hires people then doesn't pay them,a relative accused him of molesting her and had his bail revoked for lying to the court
Yes, Trayvon ran from the road into the courtyard. I was trying to make the point that Trayvon did not keep running all the way to the townhouse. Trayvon stopped and hid in the courtyard. He then confronted Zimmerman where the sidewalks met in a T. If Trayvon had kept running, he would have been long gone.
Yes, both characters in this case have unsavory backgrounds with previous run-ins with the law and school officials. Neither is a fully upstanding citizen with no blemishes in their past. Which simply means that this case will come down to what a jury believes about the two factors I explained earlier.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No, the autopsy does not say that. The autopsy is not talking about bruise . Nothing about bruise. This is what your link say. "Tuesday the autopsy results on Martin showed the skin on his knuckles was broken â " So your link talk about ("skin on knuckel is broken") not bruise like you say. 1/4 inch x 1/8 inch abrasion on the (one) finger of the left hand of Trayvon is the autopsy. That is real.
Quote from PHOENIX TRADING: You don't bruise all that much once you're dead. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You are wrong.
