Writing code is so easy and so widespread that I would expect a large majority of folks who trade from home to consider themselves "programmers". Even if all they've done is kicked out a couple apps for themselves, or even scribbled a few lines of script. It's gotten to the point that if I meet somebody who trades on his own and he's not computer savy, I'm careful about assuming he really is a good trader. Not to say that all good traders can code their own OS or something, but there is a decent correlation between trading on one's own and having some . . . uhm. . . $KyLz I believe it is typed?
