Birth certificate suits have been brought to courts around the country, but have been dismissed because normal, everyday peons don't have standing in court to make sure the president of the US is qualified to hold office. In fact, the courts don't seem to think anyone has standing to make sure this constitutional mandate is upheld, and the Obama administration agrees.
