No religious stupidity should get any respect. Let's start with Christianity and it's intolerance, ignorance, and hatred for gays and people of other faiths and it's disrespect for women. This thing today in NC to ban same sex civil unions is just further proof of how ignorant, intolerant and bigoted so many "Christians" are. The bible is a just collection of myths and half-true stories written over two thousand by a bunch of guys and then edited and rewritten multiple times. So of course the brain dead religious whackos hold it up as the word of "God". Why? Because it says it is, right there in black and white, of course.
