I was wondering how the sites that offer free emoticons make money. The site quoted above doesn't even have advertising. Not that everything has to be to make a buck. Is it simply a public service? Will you get adware/spyware? Are they harvesting email addresses so you get hit with spam? What's the deal?
    Thanks

  9. lo! That is a good point. I do remember my PC became slow after visiting these kind of sites, though I can not say for sure, whether this site was included. A few times, my PC got virus and crashed.

Someone advised me to install "Spyware" & "Anti-virus protection", although, "Spyware" was recommended. I got "Zone Labs" installed, and am somewhat relaxed. Now, I am wary to click anything that says is free.

  10. Shouldn't disciplined traders focus less on emoticons?
