    All of these are examples of voter fraud under state law and any reasonable definition of voter & election fraud.

    On the voter registration form you must attest to before signing the following in N.C.:

    I attest, under penalty of perjury, that in addition to having read and understood the contents of this form, that:
    · I am a United States citizen, as indicated above;
    · I am at least 18 years of age, or will be by the date of the general election; or I am at least 16 years old and understand that I must be at least 18 years old on
    election day of the general election to vote;
    · I shall have been a resident of North Carolina, this county, and precinct for 30 days before the election in which I intend to vote;
    · I will not vote in any other county or state after submission of this form and if I am registered elsewhere, I am canceling that registration at this time; and
    · I have not been convicted of a felony, or if I have been convicted of a felony, I have completed my sentence, including any probation or parole.
    (Citizenship and voting rights are automatically restored upon completion of the sentence. No special document is needed.)

    As noted in the other text you will be indicted for election and voting crimes under state law if you violate the above, or improperly vote in an election.

    There is no legitimate argument against voter ID.

    Election fraud and voter fraud are treated differently just as you linked, that was my point

    You are playing games with semantics. Why don't you call the Legislative Services Office [(919) 733-7044] of the N.C. Legislature and ask if the situations described in the articles are considered voter fraud under state law. Get back to me with the results of your phone conversation with the name of the person you spoke to.

    Given that you showed that they are treated differently under the law, how is it semantics? If they are the same offenses then why not equal punishment?

    There are different penalties for different types of activity involving voter fraud. Just like there are different penalties for other crimes based on their severity.

    That's what I am saying - it's not the same activity, one involves fake registration, other involves ACTUAL voting, they are different activities which is why the 'crimes' are treated at a differing severity level. That's like saying that having a fake driving license is the same as overspeeding just because they involved driving - they are not.

    Both are considered forms of voting fraud under state law.
