More coal-fired power plants have closed under Trump than in Obama's first term

Almost as obnoxious as the idea of universal basic income in modern Western societies.

  2. He basically looked at each state he needed to win and came up with bullshit to win those votes. Claims about coal got a few southern states all riled up and on board and in other states people thought he was making a big deal about a U.S. industry and grabbed their kneepads as well.

Sad how easily the U.S. voting public is swayed by bullshit to vote for somebody in either party and then never hold them accountable when they realize they were lied to. Voters would rather lie to themselves than admit they were wrong about who they voted for....

True. And look how late HRC was to the universal healthcare party. It wasn't until Bernie was getting serious attention that she started to reverse course and advocate for Universal Healthcare and Student Debt Forgiveness.

The real US election fraud and collusion occurred in the Democratic Primaries.

Nearly 2,000 miners across four states may lose their jobs after yet another major coal company filed for bankruptcy this week – the third since May and fourth since last October.

During his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump promised to revitalize coal and save miners' jobs, despite scientists linking the burning of the fossil fuels to global warming, but the industry has continued to suffer losses.

Although Trump has touted coal's rebirth, 51 coal plants have closed and eight coal companies have filed for bankruptcy since his election, CBS News reported last month.

Natgas traded as low at 1.75 in Obama's second term.

Natgas traded as high as 4.68 in Trump's first term.

Trumptard was going to make us debt free in 8 years, yet he's added over two trillion to the US national debt. He was going to save coal jobs which are being lost as a record pace.

Why anyone would believe what Trump says, or that "coal is coming back," is fascinating.
