Dear Traders: I'm wondering if you could help me with the research I'm doing for my company. I would like to get an idea of how many e-mini contracts (on average) an active daytrader trades in a month. Your suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you in advance. Regards,
I would suggest narrowing the criteria a bit. The answer will depend on how much $$$ the trader has. Answers could range from a few hundred to many thousands. Maybe a figure like round trips or number of trades might be more meaningful and useful for comparison purposes??? Just a suggestion.
Thanks, you are right. I should of asked about round trips really. I've been always involved in stock trading therefore I have very little sense of e-minis. Any suggestion will help me. Thanks again.
Also depends on the trading style. Many will only do 5-10 rt's a day taking a point or two in each, then there are momentum scalpers who will do 20k+ rt's a month
