The real conflict in any game of Monopoly does not take place on the board. It happens before you play, when everyone has to decide who gets to be the shoe, who gets to zoom around in the car, and who gets stuck with the stupid thimble (calm down thimble enthusiasts, it’s a bizarre token for the game). But if you thought those arguments were intense, just wait until you have to have to fight over getting to be the penguin or the T-rex, and which sucker has to use the bathtub.

That strange negotiation could be a reality soon, if those three token are voted in by fans in Hasbro‘s new internet contest (via Kotaku) to determine which eight game pieces will be a part of the Monopoly game set from here on out. That’s right, every single token from the game, including the ones you have used all your life, might be replaced with myriad new options ranging from the totally awesome, to the super silly, to the completely absurd.

VoteMonopoly has 65 options for fans (that includes the eight currently in the main game, for those of you that are traditionalists) to pick from, and they are all over the place. You can see the entire list below this post, but just be prepared for many emoji options.

The voting starts today and continues through January 31st. The winners will be announced on March 19, which is World Monopoly Day. While the new game isn’t expected to hit stores until August, you can currently order a copy of Monoploy Token Madness ($19.99), which has 16 pieces: the eight silver tokens that are in the game now, and eight of the new golden options that are candidates in the vote.

It’s anyone’s guess what pieces will win (just please not the emojis), but there are enough genuinely great token ideas here that we wouldn’t mind–nor be surprised–if eventually Hasbro just makes it so you can custom order a copy of the game with whatever tokens you prefer.

But since we can’t guarantee that will happen, get out there and vote. Otherwise you might end up stuck being the cuff links while your little sister gets to be use a helicopter.

What game piece would you most like to play with? Look over the full list of options below and tell us which token you most hope ends up a winner.

I hope they keep the Scottie dog.
    Grandma Zandy's favorite.

I'm surprised they didn't include.... ah, nevermind. Bad joke.

Can they combine the penguin and the cowboy hat? That would get my vote.

Why not replace that iron with a more modern-looking iron?
