I am now able to bump up the amount I put in each position. Right now, I am putting around 5k in each with a max of 3 streams. Starting next month, I will have up to 4 streams, with around 10k each.
4-21-09 PWRD bought 306 @16.26 Sold 15.92 I was up a little bit in this stock and it started to go against me. Never really regained strength. Price movement was very weak and kept going against me. I have a relative exit planned a head of time. This number I choose just barely got me out of the trade. Its very frustrating when this happens, but part of limiting my risk is standing by my stops in the case that it makes a huge drop and keeps going.
CNQR bought 413 @ 24.17 exit 24.9 FSYS bought 666 @15.00 exit 15.01 I got started late today. Noticed these stocks had broken out, but had not run up in price that much. Volume was good, same with macd, stoh. With both of these trades I did not hold them long enough especially with FSYS. CNQR has a huge run up on a 30min bar, and I thought it might retrace. This is why I exited the position which was not a good reason. It was mainly based on mental baggage from the day before. Until I get into the groove again, and build up this account more, these mental issues will be problematic at times. What I am happy with is my entries on both these stocks. I made the right decision and pulled the trigger. I have been doing really well with execution for the most part. Handling trades, aka, hold longer for more profits and being more patient is what I will be working on for the future. I also stepped up my size today. Previously I said I would start the new size in May, but I decided to bump it up now from advice I received from a trader I respect. The overall good is to make good trades where I make more money than I loose. As I keep doing that I will continuously increase my size. Another thing I need to work on is my re entries. If I do make a sell decision too early, I can always buy it back on a retrace. This is an area where I need improvement. CNQR retraced, had a great buy back opportunity, same with QSII, and others.
