More smoke.......I noticed in all that nonsense you didn't address the issue of 1.30 and giving up trading, you weren't a politician in some previous life by any chance were you, blow smoke to avoid the issue? Although it's totally irrelevant it doesn't really matter a jot even if I were to post on Moneytec using 100 different names, which part of 'I'm not selling anything' are you having difficulty understanding? Conversely, for a training course and signal touter to use multiple forum aliases to post messages of self-congratulation naturally arouses suspicion, why would someone do that unless they were attempting to deceive? Let's get to the crux of this issue instead of trying to divert attention shall we, or are straight answers really that painful to give? The whole idea of someone stating categorically and with some authority Eur/Usd will not break above 1.30 and if it does they'll give up trading was a bit naive and ludicrous anyway and perhaps shows just how inexperienced the author really is, but nevertheless that is what was promised. So, have you kept your word and given up trading and trying to fleece gullible newbies, yes or no? Let me try and put this in perspective. I don't have an issue with someone getting it wrong, I am frequently on the wrong side of the market, it's no big deal and what stop loss orders were invented for. What I do take exception to though is an inexperienced novice with some extremely dubious trading practices trying to pass himself off as a market guru to unsuspecting newbies with the sole intention of relieving them of some cash, and when I see that happening as it did in the Uncle Elliot thread I say my piece. As SoulTrader said himself, I'm not sure the original intention of the thread was to promote training courses and signal services but that is the way it ended up, and the way it was done was nothing short of deceitful. Teaming up with the likes of Stoxx was a mistake as well, from what I've seen he couldn't find a profitable trade with a map and a flashlight and even if he did he wouldn't know what to do with it! Talking of SoulTrader and Moneytec, the way it's going right now will result in there being no-one left to moderate! I'm not sure what the motives are behind trying to reduce the number of posts and posters by deleting and banning everything in sight, perhaps the hosting bills were getting a bit heavy, who knows. The forums are pretty much barren and what little is posted is devoid of any coherent or constructive discussion, all but the most stubborn have already abandoned the sinking ship. I can't believe Kyle would simply stand by and watch as his potential cash cow is being slowly destroyed unless there was a reason, whatever that may be. As for SoulTrader, he probably couldn't care less, the guy is a carefree millionaire and picking off Moneytec posters is more than likely just a bit of light entertainment! Mick
Well the difference between my claims and that of yours (Soultrader et al) is that I have provided references that can be verified. How can anyone verify what SoulTrader claims? They simply cannot and as stated previously, the truth is locked away in the dungeons of Moneytec for no-one to see. Maybe you can point me to all posts of self-congratulation that you claim surfer made. I'd like to see them. I don't see anything wrong with someone using different aliases. People do it all of the time for various reasons, including humour and anonymity. However, I do have issue with someone doing it for destructive purposes and that can be clearly seen by the likes of HenryHub and peteuk (page 715 onwards). It's just that most people supported surfer and I can see it was hard work for you lot. In fact, it all backfired, didn't it? You guys did all of the advertising for his services and only made him ever more popular! Maybe he'll buy you guys a beer for that one day! Dear oh dear, it probably wasn't the wisest of statements surfer made, but you know, I don't live in a black and white world. I know others do and they may interpret things differently, but you seem to have a fairly good command of the English language. His statement was a bit vague don't you think? What did he mean? Sure, he said that if 1.30 breaks he will give up trading and that's about all. As far as I'm aware, he did NOT say that as soon as 1.30 breaks he will immediately give up all forms of trading and never return. There is a difference. It's like Tony Blair saying he will give up politics after the next election. Well, he didn't say when did he? That's a matter of speculation now! And when he does, there's nothing really stopping him returning, is there? So as far as I'm concerned, surfer's word is good as long as he gives up trading at some point. Whether he decides to return is up to him. Maybe you just need to clarify the matter with him? I always take vague statements like that with a pinch of salt. In 1.5 years, surfer created the most popular thread on Moneytec. His nearest rival could not achieve that after 3 years and is still way behind! He did so simply by making calls in advance, charting to the right (the future) and getting many correct. His nearest rival charts the the left (the past) and doesn't call his stops, but then makes claims after the fact! Well, surfer's calls were clear and verifyable and naturally he became popular. I even remember YOU saying that he has made some amazing calls (before you turned bitter)! The amount of disinformation you guys attempted to plant has done nothing but to increased his popularity! After 4 months, his signal service has been free for all to see and verify (no-one has paid for this service). Someone even posted their statement after 3 months and made over 1700 pips on mainly singles! Well, the numbers speak for themselves The only thing people have paid for is a 1 month training course with surfer and stoxx! And for all that time, surfer gets US$1000. Not a big deal in my world especially when not one person has complained! In fact, two of his former students have come out publicly and backed him! What more can I say? He is oversubscribed and booked up until early next year so good luck to him! Well, I agree that Moneytec is a sinking ship and it seems that SoulTrader runs the show there now. He probably has a strong grip of Kyle's jewels and any noise he makes ends up high pitched! Carefree Millionaire? Haha, can't see that by his penny pinching ways. Looks more like a dirty-tricks salesman who has hyped up products to impress the newbies. A sinking ship would suit him well as his sharks are ready to bite any unsuspecting newbies jumping ship! Anyway, Take care! point (pip)
LOL, among all that smoke blowing you forgot to answer the question, perhaps you forgot what it was "So, have you kept your word and given up trading and trying to fleece gullible newbies, yes or no?" So that would be a 'no' then......yup, I thought as much. Tooooo funny Mick
.....that's probably how comes he is a millionaire! The UK forex trading world is comparatively small, a guy I used to work with lives in the next village and Soul is quite a well known local character, sorry to disappoint you but yes, he is a millionaire and lives a lifestyle to prove it! A million pounds in the scheme of things isn't actually that much but I suppose it's all relative, if you're a poor immigrant existing on benefits I guess even fifty quid is a small fortune
Why bashing moneytec? It's a good forum, with some issues like any other one. About 1/2 year ago there was a lot of critical posts towards TradersInternational and threads got deleted right and left here on ET. I stopped trading forex a while now, so do not go there a lot. Moneytec was the place whre I first got my feet wet. They also have a good spin off Strategybuilderfx. redduke
Well, I did answer your question, but my world is full of colour. Like I said, some people live in a black and white world and will interpret things differently, but I can understand that. Let me put it this way, you can watch black and white movies on a colour TV but you can't watch colour movies on a black and white TV. Therefore, I can see that you have difficulties understanding me. So when you ask is it yes or no, I can only say that it is neither. It is something that you can't see! point (pip)
Neither? How many ways are there to interpret "if Eur/Usd breaks above 1.30 I will give up trading". If a snake oil salesman such as you says he will give up trading (however stupid it was of you to say it) then it's not unreasonable to expect you to keep your word and do just that, or at the very least to stop peddling your worthless trash to gullible newbies....black, white, or whatever other color you're seeing through those rose tinted specs Isn't it about time you stopped wriggling and came clean, you know it makes sense! Mick
It's not the millionaire bit that I have an issue with, it's the "Carefree" bit. If someone was to drop a penny in the street, I could see him running for it fearing that someone will beat him to it. I only say that by observing his behaviour on Moneytec and there is nothing "Carefree" about it! Now, who are you trying to impress with this millionaire story? The vulnerable newbies? Lots of teenagers here get their first few credit cards and live the lifestyle of a millionaire before declaring themselves bankrupt two years later! Also, I only read today that 25% of Britons will be dollar millionaires within the next decade due to house prices. Big Deal! Well, I suppose there are some people who will be impressed. As they say, there's one born every minute! pipmaster
Now we are going around in circles. Is it black or is it white? I don't know, you figure it out! You know, I typed "Kyle Moneytec" in Google and this thread came up at about the third position from the top. Now this thread has been here for about 2.5 years and it's title is "MoneyTec Forums: Abysmal, lowlife snakeoil standards". Now, when I type "SoulTrader Moneytec" in Google, there are no prizes for guessing that Moneytec is the first site, but hey, this one comes up in second position! "MoneyTec Forums: Abysmal, lowlife snakeoil standards" What more can I say? Anyway, you have replied back to my posts as quickly as HenryHub and peteuk! Looks like you've got lots of free time and nothing better to do! If you like debating the same issues over and over whilst avoiding my queries, then so be it. Now, as you like having the last word, the floor is yours! Until next time! pip
'Impress'? You were the one who questioned whether the guy was a millionaire, I was simply putting you straight (having to put you straight is getting to be a regular thing lately!). 'Big deal'? Well, I for one wouldn't turn my nose up at a million and have every respect for someone who has a) managed to accumulate it, and b) managed to keep it, especially when there are so many unscrupulous people like you and your sidekick around! You'll often find that people who say 'big deal' when it comes to others having wealth are the ones who have very little chance of rising above the bread line. Anyone with an ounce of common sense would be more interested in how they made a million, not resent the fact that they have it. Yup, one born every minute, congratulations you got something right for a change (even if you did have to quote me to manage it!) Mick
