  1. Multicharts has an easylanguage portfolio backtester that's required if you want to do development.

  2. Coming to this money management ,using it made a non profitable system into a profitable one , a system that made no profits made over 20 % a year.We back tested it over 10 years.

The worry is most people will set up web sites and con noobs , charge fees for some free mm system.

It will also prove most mentors and xperts are incorrect in their money management 2 % advice ,they are horribly wrong.

It will also prove the Elders ,Raschkes and Tharpes as poor mentors who never could successfully make a living from trading. Why would you want to be trained as pro-footballer by a failure pretending to be an xpert? Why would u want to follow failures who do not make a living from trading?

  3. I learned a lot from Tharp. I'd be willing to train with a professional, although the opportunity rarely presents itself.

Actually, the guy I learned the most from had a subscription service where he proceeded to deliver the goods, over and over, 5-15% at a time using a ridiculously simple technique based on 2 indicators and how the market reacted to news, plus a couple fundamental criteria thrown in. I didn't want to use his method. My own trading has evolved right back to what he was doing, but I had to make my own mistakes and come to the conclusion myself before seeing the value in it.

    Good trading is pretty boring.

  6. There are many guys delivering with subscriptions services , I am a stooge to market their course and training seminar , Al Brookes .
None of these make a living from trading , but selling courses.

Indicators are used by pros in the 5 % club or stooges?

  7. Van Tharp makes a living from selling books ,courses ,selling advice and seminars? Is he a successful trader? The answer is probably no.He knows the only grail is his.

In his book he talk about a load of crap on position sizing , 95 % losers were sold to his books.

Good luck to those who follow trading failures of the 95% club.

  9. What wonderful memory you have!

give me any losing system with a minimum hit rate of 20 % , and stop no greater than 100 % greater than than target , and I will make money with it using unique money management

Generally I tend to use systems with hit rates of 40 % plus.

    Money management is the key.

i can show you that by using no money management whatsoever it's possible to have a very successful trading method still with low risk.

trading risk equates to poor trading logic, you have it or you don't.
