Money Management Question

Discussion in 'Trading' started by trendisyourfriend, Apr 27, 2023.

  1. In todays world 25% ROR is the bare minimum with decent access, in the 90’s during “wolf of Wall Street” days I’m sure a few guys were doing well above 25% with ease but in this digital era you’ll make 25% just in spread rebates with the right infrastructure.

    but on the other hand 100% with no access at face value is definitely good, but it’ll be hard to push that management fee.

    Because 25% ROR monthly is easy to come by with access, or someone clever will get that same monthly 25 by scheming 770 accounts. But to be clear 100% yearly interest is great but in this sport top performance numbers is 10x that 100 at the bare minimum

    If the money manager can consistently make 5% a month, that is very good.

    Beyond that, we have to invest in Madoff.

    HE did much better than that;
    if you count some of his ''feeder funds'' /curiously steady 13.5-19%:D:D
    Easy to discern crypto c*ns like S Bankman Fried.But Mr Madoff had a likable personality like Col Sanders of KY Fried.
    And his market makers gave plenty of people good fills on NQ, especially considering the trends LOL:caution::caution:Former chair of NQ;
    and one of the first kings of PFOF.

  4. What madoff did 10 years ago, today American and Western European wealth managers and politicians call it “diversification”, “cycles” “put options” ”hedging” “private credit” “market makers” lol

    I know some of them personally on that list and that is way I asked the question of that he knows anyone that makes 25% consistently a month, year in year out. Even 25% a year for more then 20 years is very rare in this field.

    It is wrongly stated 'compound'. It should be per year average return.

    Per year average return is a meaningless stat.

  10. Are you guys talking about CAGR - compound average growth rate?
