Lets put it this way....If you are a unHappy F**cker...Coming into huge sums of money will just make you a Rich Unhappy F**cker
That is not true. You do not know this, because you already have huge sums of money. Rich people should not tell poor people how to feel about money. That is just foul.
In my opinion money is nearly everything nowadays. It helps you get everything in life right from fulfilling basic needs to security etc.
Money can't buy Happiness or Health or Friends or Reputation!! Like I said once you have what you think is enough money you realize that it can't buy what is really important.
Who said it could. Are these assumptions that you have disproven for yourself? Who implanted those in your mind in the first place, Madison Avenue? Too much idiot box for you! lol
I believe Overnight alluded to it in the first post. Yes I now realize that money is not the most important thing. No it wasn't madison avenue. They want me to spend money I don't have, to buy shit I don't need, to impress people I don't like. I'm past that.
Whoopty freakin doo. good for you champ. It aint the money, it's the love of money which is the root of all evil, not the money itself. Power kinda fits that profile too, huh. The ability to make things happen. Try talking a construction crew into building you a structure. Good luck with that. Now sit down with that same crew and hammer out a legal contract stipulating the terms and conditions upon which as a group you intend to make that happen. Some exchange of value will be required by any crew with two brain cells to rub together that are not slaves under your control. That value can take the form of goods, services or some "money". Is that so wrong. No. If a powerful leader starts skimming 10% off the top of projects under his influence via the Enforceable Power Vested in Him by some process or another, then the love of money, fame and power can and certainly does often end up with evil consequences, no? Why blame a piece of paper with some ink on it for that asshole and the others who back him up? Just a diversion. Don't fall for it. You are preachin to the choir. Healthcare
The real world is being able to eat, have shelter, feed your kids, and enjoy life in general. NOWHERE in this missive did I ever mention being "rich". That came up from other posters' posts. If you cannot feed yourself because you are poor, you are sad. If you have money, you can buy food, which will make you happy. "Grateful". Is that a more appropriate term?
