Money can't buy happiness

  1. You two should be on that show.... what was it..... Crossfire?

    Good stuff.

There are 2 things that drive us and push us to keep going. It's either Money or it is Love.

Sometimes it is good love, sometimes it is love for something else.

Millions of people live their life, they live it to support their children and make a family, they live their life because of the love of that family. Yet they need money to have a family and suppor them.

If you love some hot girl, and you don't got any money, goooooooooooood luck.

It all comes hand in hand.

If you want food, you either better love farming to put in all that work or you better make some money to feed yourself.

Love & Money, that is why we live... that is why we play *watch* the game (Took that one from the NBA commercials, good stuff eh?)

If you live life to gain knowledge, you hope to gain money by gaining that knowledge.

Know you can say someone that wants to be a priest and run a church. He still needs money to suppor that chuch, but he loves god more than anything.

You want to be popular, you need money (or big STICK diplomacy) to get it *with the girls anyways*

It all comes down to money.

People have a lot of it, little of it, or none of it.

I'm willing to bet that the first option have a lot more happiness than the last two options.

Money can't BUY happiness........ but then again, if you have money, more often you are spending it on things to keep you happy...... So is money buying us happiness?

If you buy a cheeseburger, would that make you happy instead of just not eating at all *besides making us all fat of course*

I probably just invited people to jump on the truth and criticize the hell out of this post.

Owell, it will take my mind off of eSignal though.

  5. JM's knows much at a young age :)

We have this thread discusion every month, looks like most people are clued out.

    Money enhances,

Bill gates was a fidgeter when he was 15
    He's now a rich fidgeter when he's 55

    Life does not change.

"Still, Gates joked about his plight being unequaled in wealth. Asked if he surrounded himself with financial peers, he quipped, "No, I sit alone.""

    LOLOLOL

    Point proven.

Most of these money oriented statements prove that money means power, and the power makes people stupid.

Regarding absolute power - it makes people stupid absolutely :D

  9. Owell, I just throw my view of life in at age 19. I still got a long way to go before I truely understand the meaning of life :)

    Here is one question....

Why can't we all just get along?

*My first response is because eSignal exists*

Can someone honestly answer that for me. In school I always got a prompt reply of "NO!!!".

I think I know why. We can't get along because of money.

Right now, ES and CW are going at it and the conflict of the discussion is money.

A crime in which your purpose is not to die = actions driven to gain money.

Jealousy? Creates hostility at some points. Jealousy results of lack of money in most cases.

    Power = money? Yes

Racial Segregation? Whites wanted to maintain control, and wanted the money, they were afraid of something. Even today, jobs are being lost and being sent over seas. Conflict for americans who work in the technology industry, reflection of money.

    War is fight over money.

    We strive to make money.

Africans starving and dying each day? Lack of $$$.

Blah, regardless, IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY!!!

Money is probably one of the biggest determining factor for all global events, and personal events as well.

Notorious BIG had written that song "Mo Money, Mo Problems". I think he might have had it wrong. "Any Money, All Problems"

Back in mideval times, all those historical battles in the middle-ages where over land, over power, over gold.

Our country was created on the basis of money. Taxes from England? Screw that, we want to keep our money. Lets kick some ass and keep all our money and expand this baby to the pacific coast. Then we get everyone moving to the west coast because of the stories of gold, money.

All of this crap comes from money.

Money is what drives the world.

You can use the word "power" and "money" inversely almost. They both basically equate to the same thing.

I say I'm trading right now, not for the money, but for the experience. But what that really means, is, I'm trading now, not worrying about money, because I'm expecting to be rich later on with all the effort I put in now.

Every newbie trader probably looks at it this way, either that or they just want to put it all on the line and make money.

Greed and money is a direct result of most traders failing. Casinos are rich because of money, because of greed.

    IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!

Someone want to call me nuts or crazy or I don't understand how the world works.

I just explained why the world works. I just explained why people live, and work for a living. I just explained why there is ever conflict in this world. I just explained why there is crime in this world. I just explained why nuclear bombs have not blown us all up and the world has come to an end.

Want to justify 9/11? Someone powerful told those dudes to hope in a plane and drive those into the WTC.

What does that have to do with money? Because some rich bastard over in Iraq told them to. He has power, he had control. He wanted the demise of America, he was jealous over america, he can claim he hates america, but he hates us because of one reason. Because we go the money and we don't.

Germany's Final Solution? Kill all the jewish people? They wanted to feel great about themselves, they didn't want to feel bad so they blame crap on someone else. It makes them feel better. It gets rid of people. It might not directly relate, but in the end Germany wanted to control the whole world anyways because they wanted to be the supreme race of the world. All that BS comes down to money. Power is money, Money is power.

Illegal Aliens Protesting? What do they want? Why is there conflict? Why did that protest just happen? MONEY!!! They want their money!

Why is mexico doing that stupid law with drugs. I don't really know to tell you the truth, but I'm sure someone smarter can tell me it will come down to them making a lot of money.

People hellbent on destroying the world? Nah, how could they possible be powerful if they won't survive?

I also explained why markets exist. It's all about the money. People do things for money. Some people are happy with what they have, they play it safe, they can't afford to take risks and risk losing all their money.

We are all here because of money. We may say because we don't want to work for someone else, but the only reason we work for other people is to make money anyways. Now we are working for ourselves, and the main goal of any business is to make a profit.

We either do it for love, or we do it for money, most of the times we do it for both.

That is why we are here today, that is why we live.

What do traders do? We play the game of making or losing money every day. We are right there at it. We are right at the source of why the world operates, money. We don't go through a middle man, we just go straight for the money. We may very well have the greatest jobs in the world, because we are infact playing with the world itself, we are playing with the very thing that everyone strives for, the reason why people exist.

That is why we take pride in being traders. We are working directly with the stuff that is the main goal in life for everyone in the world. Money.

We are hated by the public because of jealousy, because of fear, because we take risks others are not willing to take.

We are fighting a battle every day.

You can compare it to being a soldier, because if you are in the army right now, you are fighting for your country....... well you are fighting for your country to make gains economcally in the long term *I don't know WTF bush is doing though*.

We battle directly with the markets. Directly with the exchange of money. Can you compare the markets to war now?

Every man (or woman) for him/herself.
    =========

I just explained anything and everything the world is about.

It took awhile, but I got it done.

How is that for an open minded 19 year old eh?

Anyone care to argue all that crap i just wrote. It only took about an hour.

  10. One day I'm going to write a book. It will be called "Market Wars" or something like that... maybe "War & Money" or even "The Battle for Money".

    Something like that.

    It all makes sense.

The main purpose of me... or anyone writing books? Money? To be remembered? To become successful and remembered? Oh wait, being successful, to be remembered......... it comes down to power & money.

Blah. IT IS ALL ABOUT MONEY.

    EliteTrader exists to make money.

ElectricSavant trades because he wants millions in the future.

We buy monitors and fancy equipment not to trade better, but to help us make more money.

I can probably justify everything with money. Now if you go back to the age of cavemen and all that crap, I might have to compare food to the equivalent of money. but c'mon.

We all get the point now.
