Were you not conscious in 2020? WTF dude. Breakers were tripping in March and April of 2020, which is 7% down. FFS.

    Idiot.

  3. Idiot? Really?

Re-read my post word for word and tell me specifically where I'm wrong.

I'm afraid the idiot here is you.

    It is right here, dude.

"To my knowledge, we haven't seen a Friday close down around 6 % since the 14th of April 2000. The following Monday closed green + 3,25 %.

If we loosen up the criteria a bit and look for Fridays closing down 4 % or more - we had one in 2020 and one in 2008."

Do you know what breakers are?

In April of 2020 we had multiple days of the ES closing down 5%. We had breakers tripping. I guess your memory is selective,

What, your contention was that it had to be a Friday?

How much money have you made in this chaos? Show us your real money trades, like I have for a decade, or have a steaming hearty cup of STFU,

With all due respect, do you honestly believe you are the right person to criticize someone else's memory?

And as a bonus, none of the dates with circuit breaker activations in March, 2020 were Fridays.:p

  10. Yes, dumbo. What the hell got up your ass?

This is a weekend thread discussing specifically what's going to happen on Monday following a deeply red Friday.

I thought it was a curious data point that in 26 years of trading we haven't seen something similar.

Wrong again. The covid crash bottomed out the 23rd of March.

There wasn't a single day closing down 5 % in April 2020. The larger down days and circuit breakers occurred in early March.

So, you're more qualified because of that journal of yours?

Buying 1 micro every time the market makes an ATH and holding for months through drawdown to end breakeven isn't trading. Since it's a futures contract it's not even investing. Frankly, I don't know what it is.
