    Reuters (New York):

At approximately 9:11pm last night, 911 received exactly 911 calls within 91.1 seconds. "I'm baffled by this coincedence, it really makes you scratch your head," said Taylor Collins, supervisor on duty at the time.

Amazingly, there was a 9 alarm fire on 11'th street, which started when a bunch of old 9/11 newspapers caught on fire in room 911 while Ted Jackson, the apartment owner, was at a restaurant eatting.

"I got a call on my cell-phone and they said my place was on fire! I collected a lot of newspapers from 9/11 but I guess I shouldn't have kept them so close to the stove," commented Mr. Jackson. His bill at the diner came to $9.11. He left no tip.

    Here are other fascinating facts:

The number of streets in New York, when divided by the square root of the number of Chinese immigrants residing in New York, equals precisely 911.

The average height of every building in New York is exactly half of 911.

There are 911 sewer covers for every 119 streets.

On average, 911 accidents occur between 5'th and 23'rd street each day.
