Does IB offer MOC orders for Globex futures, such as the ES contract? I looked, but couldn't seem to find this, at least for futures. If not, what brokers do? Thanx.
MoC orders, per se, are not available for ES but are offered for the large (SP) contract. They are simply Market orders that are filled during the last 30 seconds of trading. So, at IB, if you want to trade ES MoC, simply place a Market order with a Start Time of 15 seconds prior to the close, typically 15:14:45 Chicago time. The IB server will fill and report back your order at precisely that time. And there you have it. Regards, JP
