Nitro, I agree even more with your last post than the one before. For motas, I don't really understand why he really wants to daytrade. Why try the most difficult thing with so few succeeding, specially after loosing 70k why insist (learn about stop loss!). motas, if you still want to do this against all odds, OK. You are clueless and you did not reallize it. Despite what most say here, it was the case for 99.99% of us (and some are still clueless !). Self learning is difficult. Indeed try to spend sometime in a prop firm seminar and join one if possible instead of trying to teach yourself. Even with a trading buddy, it could take you 6 months or (many) more to learn. Please don't go for so called daytrading seminars. be careful, again more people ready to take your money. Join professionals, or don't daytrade in the current context. and yes some specialists are fair some aren't. but it does not matter. they are not there to get you, just as the market is not there to get you. you are the one losing money, that will be one of the first thing to learn, in a long serie of topics to master. tntneo
It doesn't matter - For me, it does not matter if Motas is a person with honest intentions or not - someone out there is hurting, and tho their case may not be the same, the "advice" given on these boards is generic enough that it applies to just about any newbie situation - and that _WILL_ help. nitro
"Something smells fishy" Yeah, it sounds like the same guy with the same bad grammar is crawling around this site and posting obnoxious or outlandish comments...First, it was the guy who was going to break Larry Williams 10000% annual record, then the guy who thought 500k was "nothing" of a trader, now a guy who is trading 7k shares of JNPR or whatever... I get the feeling that some 17 year old kid is playing jokes on all of us... If not, then I agree with Limit Down...Whatever happened to the retail daytraders in the past 2 years is what WOULD HAVE happened to almost 90% of all the RETAIL(not pro) daytraders in 1997,1998, 1999...Remember, every guy who played the hero and bought the dips came out ahead...Now, the latecomers have gotten into the game with a superficial knowledge and have to actually "trade" not just "bull market trade"... A guy who has dropped 70k from trading in 6 months, unless he has 7 figures, should just quit trading for 6 months to a year and study the markets...I do not even think the idea of letting this guy trade again makes sense...The "get it all back" philosophy will overcome all his senses if he has any type of streak... Write off the 70k, whatever you have right now, wait six months and start with that...Get some training or something...
you even questioned me at one time but now you realize how wrong you all were hell now you know i'm the real thing. :-/
Hah! This coming from someone who chooses their username from a very mediocre hair-band. LOL Social D would kick their ass!
My girlfriend has a picture on our wall of her and Axl smootching (yuk). Crummy thing is she never looks at me the way she looked at him. Something about him being REALLY happy to see her...
Bronks: Why is so important to know if motas is real or the username is funky. I can change the username very easily but the questions that I have posted on the board will remain the same. The positive feed backs that are being posted on this web site are are very encouraging and you are also encouraging, in different way. I intend to be +70K, because if you can loose 70K you can also make 70K and I am sure some of you have. This job is all about ATTITUDE, FAITH, PATIENCE, CONFIDENCE, DISCIPLINE, PRESSURE and losing is only a part of this job. Thanks to all
