OK, NegativeTrend appears to be a shill for Doug Allen: http://elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=2359236#post2359236
This is because they are frugal and don't waste money on fancy offices. Nothing wrong with that. His managing partner in New Jersey also operates out of a UPS store and his fund (IMF) is actually based at his home address. Imagine just how much money you can save by doing that and you can give more to charity! I adore that....
Yeah, but what about the issues of credibility and being legit ? Doug's firm is not registered with FINRA. You have proof of their charitable donations then ?
I was tongue-in-cheek in my previous post. The fund's website rises so many redflags, that I wonder if anyone gives them money. But hey, it is a big world out there, so who knows??? Slight correction about the charity: They are accepting donations, not giving it... Mentioning charity is also a redflag, see Dennis Bolze...
red flags? Traders getting funding. Who cares about the other stuff. This is the only chance some will ever be given. Why are you zoo negative when the guy did what he said? You must not have been choosen and are bitter. Too bad
Did you ever consider the possibility that some of us took ourselves out of the running given the odious aspects of the offer ?
I was wondering when someone was going to speak-up and tell us what they got as far as money. We heard about the miserable 20% payout, but what amounts were being tossed around ? $100k ? $500k ? more ?
if they get money they will stay quiet, why? because it's in the contract. just my projection but that is what I will require I fund the project.
