It IS funny, but trust me brother, in 7 days, if Doug doesn't pick someone, I'm filing a complaint with FINRA. Sorry Doug, the pressure's on.
Alas, I cannot make the special invite myself, but the next step is just another simple registration form away. * "Doug Allen" <dougmm7261@gmail.com> --- On Fri, 3/13/09, Doug Allen <invitations@tradersmastermind.ning.com> wrote: From: Doug Allen <invitations@tradersmastermind.ning.com> Subject: Come join me on Doug Allen Trading Masterming Team To: "austinp44@yahoo.com" <austinp44@yahoo.com> Date: Friday, March 13, 2009, 6:43 PM Join me on Doug Allen Trading Masterming Team Doug Allen If you're interested in my "looking for trader" offer follow the link in this email and register on the "ning" site. did you sign up? why can't this guy just post and ad looking for traders, get resumes, and conduct interview. this whole process is so bizzare....
No... he lost me at "hello" for the third or fourth time around. Indifference overcame my smattering of curiosity. No longer care who does what.

I want you to know that I am 100% committed to this project, and I will give everybody as much support and guidance as possible. You have my utmost respect, and I can assure you that I will do what I can to honor the trust that you've shown in me. Doug AM STILL GETTING THE FEELING THIS IS ABOUT CREATING SOME FORM OF MARKETING STRUCTURE, RATHER THAN A LEGITIMATE FORM OF "TRADE MY MONEY." ANYTHING THAT STARTS OUT WITH "TRUST US, USE YOUR REAL PERSONAL INFO" DOES NOT BRING OUT THAT FEELING. TRUST IS EARNED, NOT REQUESTED. STILL NOT A SINGLE SHRED OF PROOF THAT DOUG IS NOT PENNILESS. HAVE A FEELING THAT "FOR THE ONE PERSON SELECTED TO TRADE OUR MONEY, BLAH BLAH BLAH. BUT FOR ALL THE RUNNERUPS, HERE IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU FOR THE SMALL PRICE OF ONLY..."
Below is a link where a graphic design artist is requested to design a logo for Doug http://99designs.com/contests/4446/designers/194638 then lets look at the blue line foundation site http://www.bluelionfoundation.org/ and here we find Doug Allen's daughter doing some wonderful fundraising; given a stamp of approval by Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell. I wonder who manages all the cash that is raised and i wonder what percentage finds its way to Haiti and what percentage goes to funding the Allen family lifestyle? It seems to me Doug is more behind this fundraising appeal than his daughter. Maybe this is where Doug is getting some millions to fund the traders?
I must say Doug is treating his respondents like mice by dangling "cheese" in front fo their face with each new registration gimmick....you would have to feel like a laboratory mouse being led down a maze with cheese.
... and I would opine that Doug will be very lonely on his conference call. This "mlm process" of leading people thru a structured conditioning program is not heading towards managed accounts as a primary desire. If managed accounts were the core intent, the filtering process would be done and recipients already live in the market with clear plans of action. By now they'd be trading some type of live funds, limited in max loss or whatever restrictions but underway nonetheless. Not sure what the true underlying motive or "why" is for Doug, nor does it really matter. He asked for volunteers to run the gamut and report back. Several people did that, it's a tunnel of cookie-cutter mlm and/or internet marketing process to condition favorable responses for an underlying offer to be unveiled. Whether that is $100k, $1mil or $0 at the end is irrelevant to me. My attention span is too short for poorly-run extended campaigns. Guess it's the Russell 2000 emini trader in me. I want to see losses quick or results running off in a favorable direction, one or the other. This trade is languishing somewhere between entry signal and initial stop-loss with zero progress yet.
Doug might be legit and if so here is my theory. He has no capital but he thinks he will be able to raise capital if he has a trader or mastermind group to show to investors. So he is proceeding in reverse. Find edge. Find traders and money will follow. This is the only thing that makes sense if you start at thehe is legit premise
What's the purpose of the multiple registrations? Even from a strict marketing standpoint. Brandon do you know the angle of this?
