MJ, the greatest ever....

  1. TM,

I've certainly been to worse places than St. Louis. Philly, Cleveland and Baltimore come to mind, not to mention hellholes like Newark, but it is a totally boring town filled with boring people. It's also a town where family connections count for much more than talent in achieving success. Nice looking women though.

  2. Im sorry,...did you say good looking women in St. Louis???? Which St. louis did you go to? We're talking about missouri here aren't we???....Philly is better and so is Cleveland..they cleaned up the mistake by the lake....newark doesn't count as a big city , it's more of a medium security prison:D

  3. Minnesota really blew it in game 4. They gave the champs a breather when they needed it most.

Optional/Beavis mentioned Shaq and his toe. Apparently nobody told Shaq, who had a monster game.

Fox is hurt, but so what? That leaves more playing time for Devean George and Brian Shaw. Hardly a downgrade.

As much as I despise the Lakers, I have to admit they're back in the driver's seat again.

  4. I just want to say that "the dunk" by Kobe is now at the top of my list for all time greatest moves.....my former # 1 was Dr against the Lakers in 80 ....2) was Jordan's baseline dunk against the Knicks and Oakly and Ewing and 3) Jon Starks dunk over the entire Bulls team in the playoffs......But KOBE put them all to shame....I've watched the highlight a hundred times now and Im still waiting to see it in slow motion......anyway, never underestimate the heart of a champion and I must say Kobe is making me a believer that he is the heir apparent to Jordan in terms of carrying his team and determination to win

  7. I agree that Kobe is WAY ahead of where MJ was in his prime...but time will tell,,,,,saying he's better now is a little stretch....w/o SHAQ the lakers were 3-10......Jordan's teams were not that bad before Pip and Grant arived..

  8. Let's see in 20 years as we look back, who was greater....

So far, Kobe is still not he MVP of his own team.
