WHAT!!!???...Optional...HE OUT SCORED THE NUGGETS IN THE FIRST HALF!!...He had 37 the entire team had 32....they should really think about collapsing the nuggets and the clippers...they have no intent on getting better...how many years can you just be soooooo bad???
Many years... but Sacramento used to be a perennial laughingstock, too. And now Golden State, another organizaton that seemed hopeless, has shown some potential. Even the Nuggets may reach respectability by next season, or maybe the season after that. The Clippers are a nightmare, however, and are very likely to remain a nightmare as long as Sterling is Sterling. I've never been able to figure out why Elgin Baylor has stuck there so long - did he sign a contract in blood? Over the years, Baylor has brought in some terrific young talent, only to see it wasted and then lost.
He did nothing against the Lakers last Friday night to shake the "can't do it when it counts" knock, and, against Sac, even though he went for a career high rebounding, Troy Hudson was the one who had to take (and miss) potentiall decisive shots at the end of regulation and overtime. I guess KG's probably still the MVP favorite, but it obviously won't help him if it's the same story when the Wolves play the Lakers in Minnesota - and if the Lakers manage to overtake the Wolves in the West.
Hmm, I know. I thought I was being subtle in the switch over. It was so smooth that you didn't catch it huh? Sort of like an MJ crossover and drive.
The mavs aren't exactly known as a defensive force to be reckoned with...it's more of a track meet with them.....KG is a great player....MVP? No....and it just boggles my mind that SHAQ is not the MVP every year......I'll say it again: Take SHAQ and put him on ANY team in the NBA and you have the new 'team to beat". Put Shaq on the KNICKS and with Spree and Houston around him they are suddenly the best team in the NBA...Put him on the WIZARDS and they would be the team to beat...put him on the Clippers....ok , that's going to far...Sterling would find away to fuck it up LOL...He'd probably have him benched for large stretches so he can hold his production down and negotiate a more favorable deal
