Did I trust Romney before the document release? Somewhat.

Do I trust him more now? Yes

Even his critics in their attack ads admit that although he had accounts in Switzerland and Caymans the appropriate taxes were paid. He has given a larger percentage of his income to charity than any candidate that I can remember. By any measure, he lives his religion more than most people, and it happens to be one of the most morally demanding religions out there.

So, it's getting to where I trust him more than almost any other candidate out there.

    Re: banks
You tell me which one was a prudent place to hold the entirety of his $250MM wealth. FDIC insurance was only $100K during the collapse. So he would've needed to spread his wealth over 1,000 different banks just to be 1/2 protected. When you are that wealthy, you must take prudent action to protect yourself. Almost all others were using off-shore accounts to avoid tax, but he was paying his. Where's the problem?

  7. Romney should've held T-bills, notes rather than hide it overseas. This looks bad.

Second, although I consider all religions are fkn stupid, Mormonism really takes the cake. Southpark gives a pretty good depiction of this cult.

Their banking system isnt as shady as people think, my account is through HSBC. The trading firm i worked with at the time opened an office in Panama, and i liked the thought of paying no taxes, and simply giving up my citizenship in the U.S.

Unfortunately once i paid the lawyers to set me up properly i realized that there are far to many internet/power outages in any place i actually would have wanted to live in Panama, and trade properly, so i stuck with the U.S.

I am still set up properly down there so that i can move down there with ease if the government pisses me off enough, or if the shit hits the fan in the U.S..... its basically a hedge at this point.

  10. This partial disclosure, good bad or indifferent, does nothing to cancel out his serial flip flopping. Not sure how anyone can trust a man who changes positions as much as Romney has and not sure how this disclosure mitigates that. Can you elaborate?
