You have been wrong on 90 % of your posts about the law. I am not making predictions or declaring what this court will do...because I understand it's very hard to predict the outcome on such a charged issue. Roe v. Wade was a contrived holding by an activist court which needs modification to match up with the science and the constitution per many "experts". Then there are experts on the other side too. Most experts realize this court is made up of a majority of justices who would tend to be in the former group...so they would tend to want to scale Roe back....but they may not because of how it might divide the country. If they choose to leave Roe the way it is they will write about stare decisis... if they choose to modify Roe they will discuss how the science has changed...so Roe needed to be updated. If they say it should be left up to the states they will go through the history of it and how the founders were aware of abortion and left it up to each state because health safety and welfare is left to each state.
yes, I am an expert on other other side, as you say, but sadly only in comparison with you jemmy. You can't believe how much Joy you brought me to know that you had no choice but to concede to my "expert" opinion on his matter! Happy Sunday Morning to you. It is Sunday, isn't it? P.S. If they "update" Roe, as you suggest they may, it sure as hell won't be 6 weeks!!! That would be absurd!!! AND, if we have learned anything in our 200+ year history, it is that it would be a mistake to leave up to the States any important issue on which the intellectual 10% of the country breaks radically from the unwashed masses. At least until someone takes scissors to the map of the union and cuts away West Virginia, Arkansas, Texas, and all of the Deep South*. Why is it that there are only three truly reasonable States, Colorado, Massachusetts, and California? I maintain it is the school systems. You should move Jemmy. You don't belong in California. *On second thought, I am mistaken. I have left off Florida.
who said six weeks moron? you are so spun... you are illogical and emotional about this.. So you bring out clown piezoe... you are no legal expert... you are a clown. Your side does have experts... and you are not one of them... and they understand... there may be a battle in the states... as I said was possible... If you were not such a clown you would realize... I was holding open a chance the the Supreme Court leaves Roe in place... Upon reading some articles... your team is not putting much hope in that... for instance... -- https://news.yahoo.com/with-roe-v-w...ates-plan-a-change-in-strategy-090003962.html With Roe v. Wade in jeopardy, abortion rights advocates plan a change in strategy Jon Ward ·Chief National Correspondent Sun, September 12, 2021, 2:00 AM·8 min read ... Those who understand the political reality know the pro-abortion-rights future looks dim in the courts, in Congress and at the state level in much of the country. This is in large part because the Republican Party made a concerted effort to control state legislatures starting over a decade ago. “It’s a tough reality that we are going to have to deal with. There’s not going to be tons of quick fixes. That’s just the reality of it,” Lala Wu, co-founder and executive director of Sister District, a progressive nonprofit launched in 2016 to focus on helping Democrats win elections in state legislatures, told Yahoo News. And so, just as it has with Wu’s organization, the focus of many Democrats and pro-abortion-rights organizations is beginning to shift to the state level — not only as a way to preserve abortion rights in some states, but also as a path to power at the national level that Republicans have utilized and Democrats have neglected.
N.B./ to the sane fraction of ET members. Jem, has gone over the hill. In his mind, abortion is murder, so he now proposes, in effect, that murder should be an option left up to the States; thus in some States murder will be just fine, and in others, not so much.
a. Abortion is not murder if its legal... you clown. I do not believe it is murder. you make legal arguments with no real understanding of jurisprudence and judges and educated people make legal distinctions. -- b. Plus, you are too partisan or dense to understand the motivations of my explanations. a. If I were bringing my personal beliefs about homicide and religion into this... I would be arguing the court should ban abortion. But, I am not arguing that... you clown. b. As a US Citizen... I believe the court should follow the constitution independent of religious or anti religion beliefs. Since the founders were aware of the practice of abortion and it was not explicitly carved out for the Federal Govt... under the US Constitution... I and many others believe the matter is properly let to the states. and note... I live in CA ... there is little doubt if the US Sup Court leaves it up to the states it will be legal in my state. And that is fine. As a person who loves our constitutional republic I am happy to be part of something like that... despite my personal beliefs. I realize as a rabid partisan you can't understand how some people may argue against their own beliefs... but some of us love the Constitution and are grateful we were born into a republic governed by it and not activists or politicians.
