Mission Accomplished...The Leftist version

  1. The equivalent of "mission accomplished" was achieved last night on the Bill Maher show during his opening monologue. All with great applause from the sheep in his audience. Happens precisely at 1:40 in to the vid.

Lets see if you are unbiased enough to pick it up.

  2. I think I got it bro. As if leaving 50,000 troops there until the end of time is "getting out"........

  3. Bingo! No surprise that the lefties on the board are silent.
Didn't Bush have just about the same plan? I guess when you don't know what the hell to do, one plan is as good as the next. Not that Iraq really matters anymore with Pakistan ready to go over the edge, Mexico on the brink of a complete meltdown and good old North Korea ready to launch a nuke just for shits and giggles, Iraq is a walk in the park. Oh yeah, there's that economy thing too.

  4. What is the right phrase that shows that you had to be a fucking moron to buy Bushes bull shit in the first place?

  5. Good question, don't know the answer.

But sure as shooting, after they bought the snake oil, fearful of admitting they had been taken for a fool, their favorite phrase became "stay the course."

Some people will do anything rather than admit they made a mistake.

This is what is so ridiculous to me, that the same people who promoted Bush, who promoted McCain, who now promote Jindal and Palin, refuse to re-evaluate their own thinking processes to discover the flaw.

I think Bush said it best here:

  6. That was then, this is now. I'd call then...fool me once shame on you...and now would be, fool me twice shame on me. "Me" being the democratic congress and their constituents.
The question remains, how is it that leaving 50,000 troops over there is "getting out of Iraq"?
Just pointing out that the far left is as easily suckered as the far right, that's all.

  7. Hell mate it's gonna take 50,000 troops to fill up that monstrous edifice of a U.S. Embassy. Have you checked in to that lately?

Otherwise...it is my guess that both the right and left are both easily suckered from time to time.
