I don't know if they got deleted, but if you go, for example, to this thread http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33654 you will see that attachments are missing, thus rendering the best thread in the whole ET useless. There is some info that could be understood without attachments, but to a new reader it will be too confusing to understand what's it about.
