Queers always had all the protection under the laws that everybody else had. That is not good enough, they got themselves in a special category and it's a hate crime to assault one with special penalties but it's just assault if my wife gets assaulted, by a queer... that's liberal shit for 'ya.. now they want married status.. they should earn human status first and be considerate of the rest of us that don't want their diseases and their abusive political attacks or to see them in addictive sex acts on the beaches near P town for that matter. After they attain human status, we can talk about marriage, until the Millennium that is...

  3. The issue is free speech, isn't it?

Her free speech may have cost her 1st place, but we see free speech cost people all the time...

George Allen practiced free speech with his "Macaca Boy" and it cost him his political career.

Howard Dean practiced free speech with his scream in Iowa that cost him his political career.

Who knows what went on behind the scenes with this situation? Maybe this girl was slurring gays, and Perez Hilton heard it and decided to put her in a box?

I saw the girl today, and she was unapologetic for her views.

America is a free country, everyone got their chance to speak freely, and they suffered the consequences.

This girl is now a right wing celebrity, she can appear with Joe the Plumber and Sarah Palin at fundraisers, so I really don't see where anyone got hurt...

When I watched the girl interviewed today, she said that she was raised to believe certain things, and apparently she has not individuated from those beliefs.

Oh well, it is not the first time we have seen anti gay sentiment from a Miss America runner up...

    Anita Bryant's Anti-Gay Legacy

By Joanne Mariner, FindLaw.com. Posted February 3, 2004.

In Florida, thousands of children are up for adoption, but gay parents need not apply.

Remember Anita Bryant, the Miss America runner-up turned orange juice tout turned anti-gay campaigner? Though she long ago faded from public view, her legacy survives in Florida.

Bryant, who condemned homosexuality as immoral and “against God’s wishes,” is best known for her 1977 campaign to repeal a Miami ordinance banning anti-gay discrimination. Her organization, Save Our Children, claimed that gays -- or “known practicing homosexuals,” in her lingo -- were converting children to homosexuality. It was thus no surprise that after Bryant succeeded in her self-described crusade against the bias ordinance, she turned her sights on Florida’s adoption laws.

“Since homosexuals cannot reproduce,” Bryant reasoned, “they must recruit and freshen their ranks.” Fanning the flames of anti-gay hysteria, Bryant helped convince the Florida legislature to pass a law that entirely barred gays from adopting children.

Fast forward more than two and a half decades. In the intervening years, Miami finally passed an anti-gay bias ordinance, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down Texas’ ban on gay sodomy, and Anita Bryant slipped into obscurity.

I could see that answer coming from a jerk like you... Queers a minority, an oppressed minority indeed, that needs help from the Democrats, the protectors of the minorities... you guys are not oppressed at all, you make lots of money, you have your gay bars, your bath houses, your culture, the jobs you get just by sex favors that put you in jobs that family people can never get sometimes...... if you are oppressed it's not by the culture, it's from your diseased state... Blacks don't class you guys in with them as an Oppressed Minority there girlie man... they voted against prop 8 in California.

Legal disclaimer: I've never owned any black people and I'm glad of that on so many levels :) My ancestors never owned any black people either. I don't really give a rat's ass about any oppressed minority because it's their own political party that is carrying out the largest part of the oppression currently, not me. My wife hires a black guy to maintain her rentals, he does a far better job than any white guys we have hired for that, he just bills us time and materials, we never have to follow up on any work he does or worry about getting overbilled, basically I love the guy for treating wifey and I so good... thus it can be demonstrated that I have never participated in slavery and my wife is not prejudiced... I think that clears me legally but you never know... OTOH, you queers are out of control and I have no sympathy at all for your terrible dilemma of being an "oppressed minority" LOL

You've got demons called gender confusion and addiction, get over it. The rest of us don't need an act of congress to figure out what sex we are..

  8. I support gay rights be it civil unions or marriage. I really don't give a shit how the government defines it, as it is my personal belief that they should not be in that business anyway. It is also my personally belief that marriage is between a man and a women but I would not project my beliefs on others. In other words, I really don't give a shit what others do. Allowing gays to marry does not weaken my heterosexuality or my sanctity of marriage.

As for this Perez Hilton character, he is dangerous. The far-left liberals claim to be tolerant and celebrate diversity, as long as it does not deviate from the party line. He asked a question on what she believed, and she gave an honest answer based on her personal beliefs. Now all this controversy because her personal belief is not in line with the far-left agenda. Someone needs to take that asshole out.

  9. Perez Hilton is a radical leftist that happens to enjoy sucking dick. Had the homosexual community not allowed the radical left to be their spokesman they'd already be enjoying legal marriage. The issue would have been resolved long ago. The same can be said for all groups, abortion, environmentalists, etc. Wherever the radical left infiltrates they destroy all hope for reasonable discourse.
One can only conclude that their objective is to create constant conflict and chaos. They have no interest in resolving any issue. Radical leftists are a bigger threat to our country that Muslim terrorists can ever hope to be, and should be treated as such.

  10. So true. There are many conservatives/religious folk for whom homosexuality is a sin, and they have a problem with it. But they are not supposed to be allowed their belief, because the far left basically tolerates diversity as long as it means you agree with their agenda. Anyone who disagrees with gay/lesbian beliefs is labelled as homophobic.
