    Hello colleagues!

Do you have any experience with this new broker? They offers DAS Trader, Zero-fee Commissions and 6:1 leverage. It looks to me as part of Mint family.

SpeedTrader - Mint Global Markets, Inc.

    SureTrader - MintBroker International, Ltd.

MintBroker - Mint Global Markets UK, Ltd

I would prefer to discuss that privately as we all have different definitions of retail vs Institutional. It also depends on asset class and what advantages you are focusing on. As that thread was too general I desided not to add to the conversation.

Free cheese is only in a mouse trap ;) I would really question my order execution with a broker that offers everything for free.

  6. Thanks Robert,

It was pertaining to the member talking about the broker trading against retail traders.

Some brokers have trade desks and offer liquidity to their clients and some route to other brokers to do that. As long as you get the best price available at that time, i’m not sure what the concern is. We have no trade desk that takes positions in any asset class.

I would encourage you to do some research. Guy Gentile founded Suretrader & Speedtrader. He's been arrested before for manipulation. He cut a deal with the FBI, but he was eventually charged anyways. His case was dismissed due to the statute of limitations.

Mintbroker International has been involved recently in some massive pump and dumps of penny stocks. They bought huge stakes in GBR, MTSL, & AWX. They pumped AWX all the way from $2 to $36 before dumping it. I'm not sure anything they did was illegal, but that's not something I would want my broker involved with. Maybe I'm naive and brokers do this sort of thing all the time. It sure seemed shady though.

Do your own research and make your own decision. I'm not even certain that Mintbrokers International and Mint Global Markets are the same entity. I hope this info helps though. ;)
