A head of household working at minimum wage will receive about an extra 50% of their income in housing, medical and food subsidies from the Government.

  2. $15 to work at mc donalds is great. it cost a lot of money to live in america. we have a lot of small businesses with very tight margins too. we can make walmart pay more but then your taking away money from rich stock holders. the problem is you will kill a lot of small businesses if we make everybody pay more.

  3. It is unlikely a CEO is chosen based on mere merit. Thus the reward is mostly not justified. CEO position is usally based on who you know. It's basically a Ponzi scheme, like royalty.

  5. When we compare companies success and CEO pay ratio the US is astronomically out of touch with the rest of the world.

Some European and Japanese companies have performed much better and their CEO just make a fraction of what ours make.

Who is responsible for you not to struggle?
    How do you define struggle?

To some a struggle might be when your Porsche wont start in the morning.

I agree with you that the CEO's of Europe and Japan are underpaid.

  10. nobody owes you anything in this world. if we go by your point of view. well its ok if someone put a bullet in your head, takes your cash, and drives off in your porsche because there are a limited amount of people who can do that job. people like to forget basic order goes away when people can't buy food or pay rent.
