Minimum wage laws

    I'm reconsidering the utility and even humanity of these laws. The problem is, the cost of living does not "stagnate" the way wages do. While it appears true that people work (experience) their way out of minimum wage, it seems evident that if they have farther to go at the start, then they're going to spend a longer time at home with mom and dad (failure to launch), and that's an unimaginably cruel thing to do to parents.
