I bet they don't even give you a second thought, much less feel sorry for you. Well maybe just a little pity, lol.

  2. You shouldnt feel that way. Our all volunteer force doesnt need any pity. They just need support when they come home.

If you do feel sorry maybe you should send a platoon of men a magazine subscription to playboy, package of fresh t-shirts, razors or a box of candy. Something to make them think of home.

:) That would go a long way.

  3. The gap between the military and civilians who think the military is the enemy is so large, that I don't think communication is possible.

History is about wars and who wins them. People don't realize that if it were not for our strengh militarily they would not be in a position to whine about us, because their posts would be monitored, and they would be taken away.

    Just Amazing

  4. Stoney, interesting read.

Blame the passive aggresive politicians who hate the military in their hearts. They had control. We serve you...through THEM.

Take that hill, then abandon it.

Don't fire on an enemy that fires upon you unless PERMISSION is given to return fire.

Kill the enemy imbedded within the civilians, but spare the civilians.

These three things ALONE probable doubled the causualty count that Americans suffered.
