midnight trading and busts

  1. When GCZ9 plummeted by 6% in a matter of minutes early Friday morning, it might have been interesting to go long, but experience with regular stocks pre-market makes me think there's a probability of the trade being busted. Does this happen frequently during out of hours trading at Globex? How long do you typically wait to make sure a trade will stand?

  2. I suggest you call your broker. I've never seen gold trades busted but my experience should not guide your trading unless or until you speak with your broker.

  3. There seems to be a wave as soon as the Asian market opens for the last couple of days. It has ben happening between 9:00PM EST and 11:00PM EST. There was just a a nice move on platinum. There also seems to be more BETA between 5:00AM EST and 7:00AM EST. Good luck trading!
