Midnight rally

  3. I like to wait for the 5:00pm cst open. If the market closes near the low of the day, the overnight ramp is even better.

    If it closes near the high of the day chances for a dip before midnight are quite high. But at 2:00-3:00am cst..... it's up up and away.

    Do you automatically put in a limit to sell so many handles higher? Some type of scale out strategy for profits? Or do you just eyeball it?

    is that it? be long over night and you will be raking in the cash? I don't get it. What am I missing? There is always a catch otherwise everyone would do it.

  7. Most have been trained to exit and remain flat. Once the cash opens ES will move in a 5 point range all day.

  8. Great time to unwind out of long Sep ES positions. Contract rollover in 5 days. September contract expires next Friday.

  10. Trading during the cash session is such a waste of time. Everyone trying to make a couple of points, so stressfull.

    This is about the time ES settles into it's 2 point range for 4 hours.
