Is anyone aware of any ETF's/Closed End Funds that are based on the Middle East. There seems to be an awful lot of panic there. All I can find is Isreal and Turkey. I would be very interested in something on SA, Dubai, Eqypt etc. So far all I can come up with is to open an account with Auerback Grayson or HSBC, but commish in the middle east is terrible, I think I'd rather just do a fund. I might even be interested in a regular mutual fund. Anyway, if anyone has a few symbols id much appriciate it. Thanks.

From what I know, the parts you'd be most likely to invest your money in, in the middle east, are government owned and not open to investment, and the parts you can invest your money in, you wouldn't want to. But to answer the question, no I haven't heard of any funds off the top of my head.
