SouthAmerica: The first thousand times I heard stories about the holocaust I was sorry for what happened to the Jews during WW II.

But by the 50,000 time I heard the same story I was saturated by then of the same old story. There is only so many times one can hear the same old story before you say enough is enough.

Besides beating that story to death that holocaust happened a long time ago – Today we have thousands of times of information competing for some attention because we are on the information age and people are discovering new facts all the time.

As far as I am concerned that holocaust story used all the mileage that it was available to any story – that holocaust used the mileage of 100 similar stories.

The Jews don’t have a monopoly on holocausts – since the 1940’s we had a holocaust in Cambodia, in China, and many others in Africa including the one in Rwanda, and the current holocaust that is under way in Sudan.

The Jewish holocaust have been marketed in the mainstream media so often that has reached a point of saturation on the market for that story a long time ago.

And if you say enough is enough, then you guys use the old trick and accuse people who don't want to hear anymore about stories regarding that holocaust of being an anti-semite.

I don’t know why the Jews can’t grasp that people are becoming immune to their holocaust story – because they are watching on a daily basis what Israel is doing to the Palestinian people. And also what they did to the entire country of Lebanon during last summer.

The Jews try to market themselves as people who have been repressed during the generations culminating with the holocaust of the 1940’s.

But today the Palestinians are the ones who are living under a system of repression, and Israel is becoming a real tyranny – not only to the Palestinian leaving under their rule, but also the way they react against its neighbor such as Lebanon.

I am not anti-semite as you claim, I am against what Israel is doing in the Middle East to the Palestinians and against Lebanon.

Glad to see that you are interested. I am trying to look at this problem from a neutral dispassionate viewpoint. I feel there has been plenty of name calling already in the wider debate and it has only inflamed the situation; so what can be ascertained standing well back ?
Is it some sort of conspiracy or coincidence that Jews have been picked on all through known history ? I doubt it because from the ancient Egyptians ( if the bible is accurate), to Roman persecution, although they did revolt, to expulsion from Spain ( c. 12 century), persecution in England ( c. 14th century), etc right up to the 20th century in Germany and Russia ;all these different countries have persecuted Jews. But why ?
Personally I would rather say “Its not my problem” – not being Jewish, if it weren’t for the fact that at the very centre of the most volatile and unstable part of the world, we find it is another Jewish problem - this time with the Arabs. Not so very serious for others except for the fact that it is generally reckoned Israel has 100+ nuclear weapons and its enemies are fast becoming nuclear powers.
There is very little confidence in George W solving this problem. His record is poor to say the least. The likely hood is that the problem under his control will get worse, if his past performance is taken into account.
So its everyone’s problem whether we like it or not. To have some possibility of solving a problem it is usually a good idea to understand the origins of the problem and anything else that is relevent. Hence my original question. The problem won’t go away unfortunately, so what to do ?

Are you always this upset when you see a show or a movie on TV which you've seen before and are not interested in? Or it's only programs about the jews that get you so worked up that not only you change the channel but you also have to vent on internet message boards?

So if you still think that Hitler's secret archive and authentic paper trail of Anne Frank did not warrant 60 minutes of TV time you are a bigger idiot that I thought you were and I did not think highly of you to begin with.

nevertheless, let us give it some thought. first, the bible.
if i recall correctly they were, according to the bible,

origin at that time around the globe. then we are having
roman persecution. here i would say they shared their
fate with dozens and dozens of other tribes, people,

sea. i do not see too much extraSpecial treatment by

now is the middle east a troublesome place? and does

must distinguish between the struggle of the state

to see the real picture. and judge wisely. and condemn
what needs to be condemned.

in my opinion we see several phenomena at the same
time. first the decline of the arabic culture. which had
set the highest standards for hundreds of years. and
which is now deteriorating more and more into simple
fanatic religion. then you have the violent occupation
of land in the region by jewish forces after world war
two with allowance and immediate surrender by the
brits, who probably had hoped the jews would be
expelled within months and the problem solved easily.
so the whole process was not set up in a proper way
by the allied powers after world war II, but instead
left to the forces on their own. and to everybodies
surprise the jews have won so far. is what is going

that must be condemned? you can bet. has this any

At this point they were lost in the desert for 40 years then they managed to find the Promised Land. That brings us to estimate the birth of the Promised Land to around the year 1,180 BC.

King David – Goliath and so on is supposed to have happened around the year 1,050 BC.

In 970 BC King David is succeeded by his son Solomon.

In 721 BC the Assyrians overrun Israel, disperses the Israelites and takes thousands as slaves. Israel as a nation vanishes.

Now let us put the spotlight on all this information and try to put it on a more realistic perspective.

Around the time of Abraham – this is where Hebrew history starts – the total world population is estimated to have been around 27 million people – and demographers know that 70 % of the population at that time were living in China and in India. That leaves about 8 million people to populate the rest of the world.

I guess at that time Abraham is just starting the Hebrew lineage.

Then we go to Moses time and the Exodus. Total world population is estimated to be around 45 million people around the year 1,200 BC. Again 70 % of the total is living in China and in India – that leaves about 14 million people scattered around the world.

Is it possible that this Exodus from Egypt involved less that 5,000 people? If we want to stretch even further since these people were supposed to be building Pyramids then let’s says there were 10,000 people who left Egypt with Moses in the Exodus. (I can’t imagine 10,000 people being lost in the desert for 40 years, but again…)

Let’s go now to the year 721 BC when the Assyrians overruns Israel, disperses the Israelites and takes thousands as slaves. Israel as a nation vanishes. The year 721 BC is the end of old Israel, until Israel it is recreated by the British in 1948.

In 721 BC the total world population is estimated to be around 80 million people. Again 70 % of the total is living in China and in India – that leaves about 12 million people scattered around the world.

Is it possible that the Israel that were destroyed in 721 BC had no more than 50,000 people living in that area of the world in small villages raging in size from a few hundred people to maybe 2,000 or 3,000 people?

Can anyone on his right mind justify the mess in the Middle East based on this story of a very small group of people who happen to have lived a long time ago?

SouthAmerica: You are naïve if you think anyone has learned any lessons from the Jewish holocaust.

Just look around – in the summer of 2006 Israel dropped thousands of bombs from the air on defenseless people for a period of more than a month and the world did nothing – we all watched on television on a daily basis Israel pulverize the entire infrastructure of a country, killing a lot of innocent people and also causing massive hardship to millions of people.

Sudan has been going through a holocaust and we also watch it on the news and very few people are doing anything about to stop the killing in Sudan.

And I have news for you – if another holocaust happens to the Jewish people the entire world it will just watch on television in the same way we did with Tibet, Cambodia, Rwanda, Congo, and Sudan since the 1950’s

Why do you think anybody else cares about the Jewish holocaust (Other than the Jews) an event that has happened a very long time ago – when in reality the global population it does nothing to stop even the current holocausts that are under way today?
