    SouthAmerica: Reply to optiopro007

You are obviously Jewish. And I don’t know where you are located: in the USA or in Israel.

I know a number of very smart Jews here in the United States and most of them are medical doctors or college professors – I don’t think most of these very well educated people would approve what Israel is doing to Lebanon.

If you think I am very dumb because of what I wrote above. I have news for you – The majority of people that I know around here in New Jersey, including many Americans, agree with what I said on my posting.

Most Americans that I know are sick and tired of this Israeli problem on the Middle East.

Please don’t give me the anti-semite bullshit.

Enough is enough of this Middle East conflict – people are just saturated of the same problem over and over again. If you believe it or not - there are other things happening around the world other than the Israel/Arab conflict and the world don’t revolve around this crazy conflict.

Hezbollah is not going to get America. Hezbollah was created as a reaction to Israel’s occupation of Lebanon. Hezbollah is out only to get Israel and anybody else.

Israel is the only country that can settle things with Hezbollah.

Regarding a UN resolution to send an international force to be placed in the middle of Israel and Hezbollah – only foolish countries would send their soldiers to be killed on that mess – maybe Poland is foolish and dumb enough to send their soldiers into that trap. But the rest of the world should be smart enough to stay away from your mess.

The Bush administration loves what you guys are doing in Lebanon and the longer this thing can go on the better for them.

    Why?

Because it is taking the mainstream media’s attention from the chaos in Iraq – Iraq is in the middle of a sectarian civil war that is spinning completely out of control. The place is so dangerous today that the mainstream media almost stopped covering that war – it is too dangerous for any journalist to go anywhere in Iraq.

The coverage of the Middle East is getting so ridiculous that as American soldiers are dying in Iraq on a daily basis non-stop – Israeli soldiers made the front-page story of The New York Times on Sunday. The American mainstream media is reaching such a new low and they are not giving enough coverage even to its own army participating in the chaos that has engulfed Iraq and Afghanistan.

  2. SA I am not Jewish.

I am an unbiased viewer to this conflict. The fact that you want to believe that Israel "is doing this" to Lebanon serves as proof to my earlier statement.

The issue here is not between two countries, but between one country and a terrorist group occupying another one whose sole purpose is the destruction of the first one.

Furthermore, the fact that you mix the wonderful peaceful tolerant people of Lebanon with this sick terrorist organization and those who support them in Lebanon and outside of Lebanon as one single entity is false, misleading and dumb.

I agree with Optionpro007. You really are an Idiot.

Now you are insulting polish people. Oh... maybe you meant pollocks.

I am neither Jewish, arab, or any other interested person.

All I know is that the Arabs are determined to eliminate Israel - at least most of their leaders say so.

I believe that the parties that were present when the UN set up Israels boundaries agreed to them at the time.

I also think that there is nothing Israel can do to appease the arabs. Evidenced by Israel's giving the gaza strip back (an attempt to return to pre 1947 boundaries) only to have Hamas use gaza as a launching pad for rockets.

Hamas and Hesbolla are terriost orginazations. Period. Any one who argues diifferently is stupid.

I think you have an agenda - not a good one.

Me thinks you are mistaken - the funnymental muslims are out to kill anyone off who does not subscribe to their doctrine. That's why we see worldwide violence initiated by them. If it was only about Israel then the violence in southern Thailand, Indonesia, Russia, Denmark, France etc would not have happened. Just see what happened to Afgahnistan when they were left alone: it bred the taliban and women were put in a position no better than animals.

Commies like SA hate Bush because their systems are devastatingly flawed when it comes to picking leaders. They wind up with a Stalin at some point. They attack our leaders because they are trying to make people think that our system is as bad as theirs.

SA is aligned with Hugo Chaves of Venezuela, who is aligned with Iran in that he has Hezbollah training camps in his country and Iran has his statue in their capital and gives him awards and praise at times. So naturally, SA then comes on to these forums with his ridiculous assertions. There is no arguing with, nor a cure for the SA condition, it is a mental illness of sorts and should not be debated seriously. It is designed to just wear you down, never to edify, it cannot, in fact, edify.

Regarding the middle east, this says a lot: If Arabs had no guns there would be no war, if Israelis had no guns there would be no Jews.

  6. How is this possible? As we all know, SA is a respected journalist who thoroughly researches his articles, has no bias, and hobknobs with other great journalists and objective researchers, usually at his place for dinner...

    SouthAmerica: Why I mentioned Poland?

Because Poland can be bought – the US can give them some kind of financial package deal and they would follow George W. Bush lead anywhere.

SouthAmerica: That is your opinion and the opinion of people who watch Fox News most of the time.

There are other people around to world who understand what Hezbollah are trying to do. And they don’t consider Hezbollah a terrorist organization.

I don’t get the impression that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization when I watch the BBC News. The BBC gives more balanced news in my opinion, than the American mainstream media.

SouthAmerica: Reply to Maxpi and Hapaboy

    In a Nutshell:

Both of you should go back to your favorite sources of information and inspiration:

    1) Fox News on cable television.

    2) Anne Coulter – books and comments on television.

  8. Wait, you mean you're NOT a well-respected journalist who thoroughly researches his articles, has no bias, and hobknobs with other great journalists and objective researchers, usually at your place for dinner?

p.s. I haven't watched Fox News in weeks and have never read Coulter's books. Her comments I see online, usually from moonbat sites who are up in arms about her latest insight into their mentality.

  9. hummm, not a terrorist organization....

Don't just believe the BBC. See for yourself.

If they were singing "death to Brazil" (specially death to dumb Brazilians) I wonder what you would think of this peaceful loving group.

I stand by my earlier statement.

  10. That is an absolute load of crap and completely untrue. I watch BBC news too and although I would agree it is more balanced than the mainstream US media, they are not throwing flowers at the Hezbollah 'freedom fighters'. The BBS portray Hezbollah for what they are - puppets, and fanatics devoted to wiping Israel off the face of the earth.

In fact, I just saw a BBC interview with a family who proclaimed themselves Hezbollah supporters. They proudly plopped their 12 year old daughter in front of the camera, who stated (in fairly decent English, which made it even freakier) how she was happiest when Hezbollah was killing Israelis. I mean that is literally what she said, this 12 year old child. Now... who other than terrorists inculcate their children with this sort of thing?

And it is also untrue that 'other people around the world understand what Hezbollah are trying to do', implying that the American right is the only group that has a problem with them. Ask a moderate Lebanese American or Lebanese Canadian what they think and they will tell you that they despise Hezbollah's tactics and wish that they hadn't started this, at Iran and Syria's bidding.

Try going to any other country where fanatic Muslims are murdering people in Gods name. Ask them what they think.

Man... you're journalistic credibility, which you took so much time to fluff up, is looking limp. Seems like you're basically just using this site as a platform for your personal views. That's not journalism, in case you didn't know.
