SouthAmerica: I said on my last posting: “But that can change very fast with what is going on in the Middle East between Israel and Lebanon and idiots such as Marc Ginsberg going around and saying that American troops have to interfere in the area where Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina meet.”

Marc Ginsberg also mentioned on his interview that in that area there are Hezbollah groups (a Shiite group) who are planning things with Al-Qaeda (a Sunni organization) to perform future jobs together.

If that were true both groups would be killing each other, since their leaders and the groups - they hate each other.

There is nothing new about smugglers operating in that area of South America – they have been doing that for over 50 years – if anything what goes on in that area is supposed to be a concern of the tax authorities of the 3 countries because the purpose of their operations is to beat the tax man.

Brazilians have been traveling to that area for 50 years to buy stuff – since they don’t have to pay duties and taxes and the goods are much cheaper.

Why they have a large number of Arabs and Jews in that area?

Because they are the ones who have the best expertise in doing commerce and they know how to profit from that kind of set up.

The United States could have made the same claims in the 1960’s, in the 1970’s, in the 1980’s, in the 1990’s – and the United States has started making tose claims only since 2002 because everybody became a terrorist on their eyes. Americans are looking for ghosts everywhere.

SouthAmerica: I was very disappointed by the mainstream media’s coverage of Condi Rice’s current trip to the Middle East in the last two days – they did not show even once Condi Rice entertaining the Israelis and the Lebanese.

I expected to see playing the piano and even doing some tap dancing to entertain these guys. And here is the selection of tunes that I would expect her to perform to those people:

She would open her act with:

    1) "chitty, chitty, bang, bang"

Then she would move to some Frank Sinatra’s hits such as:

    2) Night And Day

    3) They Can’t Take That Away From Me

    4) Time After Time

    5) Come Fly With Me

    6) Strangers In The Night

    7) I’ve Got You Under My Skin

    8) I Get A Kick Out Of You

And finally, she would close her act with:

    9) My Way

The above selection has tunes to make both groups happy - and some tunes apply to the over all situation.

If she is not entertaining the Arabs and the Jews then I wonder what else she would be doing in the Middle East?

SouthAmerica: Reply to Hapaboy and Optionpro007

In history the Ninth Crusade is commonly considered to be the last of the medieval Crusades to the Holy Land.

Until George W. Bush (The Decider) decided to undertake another expedition in 2003 - known today as the Tenth Crusade to the Holy Land. In search for the God – “OIL”

And today I would not be surprised if you guys would love to see the following ticket on the next presidential race in 2008 - Pat Robertson for President and Jerry Falwell for VP – (in 2008 Robertson/Falwell)

Since George W. Bush already started the 10th Crusade to the Holy Land – then Robertson and Falwell can start the “New Inquisition.”

The new “Inquisition” would actively work to impede the diffusion of heretical ideas and would try to spread the new dogma accordingly with the new wisdom of the time.

Anyone guilt of heresy would burn at the stake in a public execution – and when these people were being burned alive on live television – your people would say a few prayers on their behalf since you are such a nice guys.

Option pro007: Burning people alive on live tv....are you referring to 9-11 ?

SouthAmerica: No. I am not. I am referring to the Spanish Inquisition when people like you and Hapaboy enjoyed when other people were burned alive at the stake.

In those days they did not have television and the only people who saw these actual burnings were the people who went in person to the location of these burnings.

But today, what I am saying is that the New Inquisitors would try to maximize their show’s viewership by showing it on live television under certain commercial sponsorship.

For example: a commentator would say to the TV audience: Today we are burning alive at the stake 3 doctors who used to operate an abortion clinic – today’s show is sponsored by the Christian Coalition.

By the way, to confuse 9/11 with what I wrote that means one of two things; 1) or you don’t know what I am talking about when I mentioned the Inquisition and burning people at the stake. 2) or you don’t have a clue about what happened on 9/11.

    SouthAmerica: Reply to Hapaboy

You quoted the comments of someone who is a real fascist – All I can say to you is that you are showing your real colors.

I bet your favorite television news station is: Fox News.

Here is some of your quotes:

Quote: “It was wrong in generally holding American society rather than violent criminals responsible for violent crime.”

What you want society to do with the criminals? Burn them at the stake?

Quote: “It was wrong in imposing its view on abortion on America through the courts rather than through the democratic process.”

What you want? Burn them at the stake?

Quote: “It was wrong in identifying "flag waving" with fascism.”

The 2006 world cup was full of fascists watching the games – based on your theory.

Quote: “It was wrong in blocking the military from recruiting on campuses and teaching a generation of young Americans that "war is not the answer" when war is at times the one moral answer.”

Like in Iraq – Why? - the moral answer is I need gas for my SUV.

Quote: “It was wrong in advancing multiculturalism, which is an extreme form of moral relativism that holds all cultures morally identical and which is a doctrine designed to undermine American national identity.”

From what I have been seeing on television in the last two months the new American identity is: Mexican.

You better start learning the language of your new country – Spanglish.

Quote: “It was wrong in advocating bilingual education for children of immigrants.”

The reality is that under a global economy only “illiterates” speak only “one language” – well educated people from around the world speak at least 2 or 3 languages.

  10. yes, he made a big thing about what a respected journalist he is, and how he can anticipate future events, and how he is personal friends with Sir John Templeton and current and former heads of State including the President of Brazil...

but then I asked him a simple question about one of his assertions and at first he didn't answer, then when I challenged him to explain why, he posted some sort of non-sequitur. I posted again with a specific dismantling of his argument, other members posted and said they wanted to hear his rebuttal and....

    he has yet to respond.
