Socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor. Just keep it going along those lines. The rest of the world is watching, popcorn in hand...:D

Our government keeps importing over one million legal immigrants per year to compete with American citizens for jobs. It also allows nearly one million illegal immigrants to come here every year to compete for the poorest Americans for jobs. If any state tries to enforce immigration laws (which the federal government refuses to enforce) our federal government sues them.

    Thank you, Washington, D.C.

  3. Not only our federal government sues states for enforcing laws that it fails enforce, it also mandates that states are required to provide services to those who are here illegally.

Really? Could you cite the source?
It's not that I don't believe ya, but, if true, that fact alone would ...I don't even know what to say....

My Aunt is living in a Medicaid funded nursing home, and it's a NICE PLACE. She's had her teeth fixed to the tune of probably $30K when ya factor in the driver and the cost of the new van to take her to the dentist, dental bills, etc. She doesn't have dentures, I'm talking titanium implants for each tooth.
This is anecdotal, sure, but it amplifies a very serious point.
Long story short, if our tax dollars are providing services like this to millions, our country is just flat over. No hope. Totally busted with no chance of recovery.
    Ever.

Everyone want the best when tax money is paying for it. If you can't be at least upper-middle class and reaching there easily, no sense saving or have insurance, spend all and get Medicare/Medicaid when the time comes.

  6. Today USA is $30 Trillion Every Year Economy

Most of the US economy (70% or so) is the service economy (not mining, agriculture, manufacture, infrastructure building etc that builds real long term wealth and prosperity). But there are many millions of foreigner/alien computer programmers working in USA who work for less pay/wages than American programmers.

BPO is a big industry in India which consists of low-level USA jobs outsourced outside to other countries. If these outsourced jobs are added to American economy and American programmer are hired who work for high wages/salary then USA service industry will be worth further higher.

When there are many millions of more employed Americans and highly paid Americans workers they would have spend more money for USA economy.

Good comment about what goes into the GDP. A very big chunk of the US's GDP is rent and mortgage payments - we even count imputed rent for folks that own their homes free and clear.

Clearly a big chunk of the GDP has nothing to do with anything being produced. As a first stab at the value actually added I would take the 30% of GDP that is not services - maybe about $4Trillion. Even so, food is consumed and not added to wealth, so is most energy.

If you look at the amount of deficit as a % of wealth actually added to the economy it's pretty scary. Chris Martenson has a good take on this in his "crash course". He claims the US does other funny things to goose GDP. They add the value of free checking and of course the same hedonic adjustments games they play to make inflation look lower.

I have read that the US's GDP is not totally comparable to other countries because they play more games with the numbers. The size of the economy is open to interpretation and manipulation of the stats. If I wash my dog and mow my lawn it doesn't add to the official GDP; but if you do that for me and charge me $60 that $60 increases GDP (and then if I fix your fence and get my $60 back that is another $60 to GDP even if effectively no money changed hands). Take away burger flipping and banking and use PPP; then you will find the US is the 3rd largest economy after the EU and China).

Today China and India each would have been estimated $1 Trillion economy in the absence of outsourcing whereas today USA would have been $30 Trillion. I think if the cost is $1 for a product manufactured in China and India, the cost of the same product manufactured in USA would be $2. If USA is manufacturing all its goods and services and not outsourcing them to China and India, then today USA would have been $20 Trillion to $25 Trillion economy.

China can field an army of 200 million men

China has had a long history of being the economic trading superpower of the world, perhaps they are attempting to rule the world economically again. Can we stop it? We do have a large army but we are already sick of these resource wars and the Chinese have an unlimited surplus of young fighting age men with no wives to be able to send anywhere in the world it is fact that they have boasted that they can field an army of 200 million men.

World leaders and financial people always think that China is 1.3 billion or 1300 million people economy and they say China is very important for the world economic growth.

World people forget that a country with 1300 million people can build an army of 300 million or 400 million soldiers. Country with high population will have military ambitions and desire to rule the world financially or militarily.

Look on both sides of the road/street before you cross it.

If China has 700 million men and China loses 300 million men and 100 million women in big wars then China will have 400 million men and 400 million women. This is perfect for future population explosion. China will remove/abolish one-child policy.

No need for logistics. China will start conquering countries close to its border and they will keep moving ahead for the world. Similar to what Hitler did in year 1939.

    The same applies to India.

Today what is USA True economy without jobloss to other countries?

Once in a while our government actually does try to enforce the law. When Chipotle found out that the government was going to check the immigration status of their employees hundreds of those employees quit their jobs. The next day there were hundreds of American citizens lining up to apply for those jobs.

So I'm sick of the bullshit line that immigrants do the jobs Americans won't do.

In some cases employers would have to raise wages and improve working conditions to get Americans to do the work. Their prices would have to rise somewhat to pay for this. The result would be a transfer of wealth from the middle and upper class to the working poor. I'm all in favor of this. There are two powerful lobbies opposed:

    1. Our corporate masters.

    2. The politically correct left, which insists that all enforcement of immigration law is racist.
