Why use 10 year chart? In 1970, Saylor was a probably a baby back then, and they were using abacus for computers, business intelligence was just a bunch of managers at the bar
Most of the members here are long term investors. So when I analyse stock charts, I would focus on the big picture. Definitely, for my day trading, my focus is only on the past few minutes/hours only.
You should post a comparison 10-year chart of another high-growth Tech stock, like Amazon or Netflix or Meta To show everyone the chart was in good faith with no malicious bias
No no no. That is not how I analyze the stock chart. MSTR chart is rather beautiful. So it is easy to analyze. There are thousands of charts that are very ugly and hence rather difficult to analyze. The Anyway, don't worry about how I analyze the stock chart. Because no one is interested in looking at it.
$50/share??? Do you even know what the book value of mstr is? My guess is it's a lot higher than that, but probably lower than what it's currently trading at You did not analyze the mstr chart, you posted a 10 year interval chart of mstr, what you should have done was a 100-year, as it's kinda useless for anything
I was just going over MSTR tonight in my log-book while updating some accounting for next-year's taxes. I almost can't believe it's been almost a whole year already since I first shorted a PUT at the 200 strike. I also remember purchasing a bit of stock too when the perma-bears were screaming it's going to zero, zero, zero. So compared to zero, I guess 50 isn't so bad? How long will it be before the bears start shouting "It's head back down to below the 10K level!" Sure, was quite a hit it took today, but everything in NasDaq took a hit, and big Fed meeting coming up in hours. People are expecting potential (surprises).
You are entitled to your opinion. As mentioned, no one is interested in the way I analyze charts. That's fine with me. It doesn't bother me. Am I going to change the way I analyze charts? HELL NO! Am I going to listen to you on how to analyze charts 'correctly'? HELL NO!!!! So analyze the chart (if you do TA) in whatever way you want, and then trade accordingly.
You did not analyze the mstr chart, you posted a 10-yr interval mstr chart with no analysis, so what was the purpose of your post?
