Any recommendations for instructional books/videos/CDs on Microsoft Excel? I am interested in material that CLEARLY explains the use and application of features such as data manipulation and macro design. Amazon has a million books on these topics. Some good, some bad... Where do I start? Thanks
I believe someone posted about a website where they answer many FAQs about Excel. It was not a Microsoft-sponsored site.
Maybe a trip to Borders/B & N would be in order so you can look through the books in person rather than on Amazon. You could go to Amazon and make a list of highly rated titles and look at them in the stores.
These should help; http://www.mrexcel.com/ http://www.willowsolutions.com/tips/tips.shtml http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/ http://www.tek-tips.com/index.cfm Books by John Walkenbach are the best, also O'Reilly. Good luck, there really is a lot to know about Excel and VBA and a lot of "gotcha's" too. Max
I take excel class with them, positive experience, A rating http://kp.globalknowledge.com/products/cd/catalog.asp#Anchor-97-47857
