Today's been the best volume day so far in 10yr. It looks like it does nothing at all during the overnight session even though the 10yr futures do 200k minimum nearly every day.
Yup yesterday (5716 contracts) was down from Friday (9957) but today (11199) was the most so far. Might have to dip my foot in the pool tomorrow. B-A too wide and too much can happen overnight.
Interested if anyone trading these ? 10yr volume seems much lower since the start-up but complex still plugging along.
This contract is worth $1000 times the quote right? The CME site says its "1000 index points" re BrokerTec, I just haven't traded it yet. Looking to use this to hedge positions in TLT.
