Micro Natural Gas Futures and Options on their way!

NG gapped down 7%.

And that is a nightmare for the swing traders.
Is Winter not cold enough?

 

You weren’t kidding about NG being a widow maker!

 

NG dropped from 3.4 to 2.2 (ie 50% drop ) in just a few days.

Excellent volatility.
This winter must be very warm.

 

I changed my broker to Advantage and they say I am the first client traded MNG with them.
I am experiencing tons of issues with this product now becuase it's not properly mapped with Rithmic. By the way, forget about this product. Trading cost is very very high.

 

Finally, after so many days of dying NG market ....

today NG day range should be at least 8%.

 

Exciting news! Micro Natural Gas Futures and Options sound like they could bring some interesting opportunities to the market.

 

FYI, Micro Natgas commission at IB dropped from 1.47 to 0.87.

 

Now it is at a one-year high.

This winter must be very freezing (or whatever).

 

Instead of 0.1x natural gas futures they needed to go the other direction like 5x or 10x. Super natural gas, like SNG . Trading regular NG is tedious as you need so many contracts to put a dent in your portfolio, have no idea how people can tolerate trading something that is like 3k a contract in the MNG. I guess if you just buy it and hold it for a longer duration that can work for the MNG, but then contango would kill you when its in lower digits.

 

Lately, it has been moving during the Asian session
due to don't-know-what reason/s.
