Good question. The war on drugs is the ultimate scam. A free country? Huh??? The patriot act must go! The NSA crap is icing on the cake. These political whores should be on trial, NOT dancing around freely spending OUR money like drunken sailors!!

  2. Some of you guys surprise me. You should understand that the mainstream media viciously attack any woman or minority who rises to prominence as a conservative. Don't let them form your opinions.

Was Palin actually the dumb broad the media painted her to be? I see little evidence of it. She was mired in a campaign run by morons and homos. Of course they despised her. She was not prepared. She looked bad at times, which gave the media an opportunity to do the Dan Quayle number on her. Anyone who has heard her speak or followed her knows she has thoughtful positions and presents them well.

As for Bachmann, she is a social conservative. That means she is against drugs ,abortion ,etc. So is virtually every other republican officeholder, so I don't see holding that against her. She has been a big thorn in the side of Boehner and the sellout boys in his leadership. Of course, they and the republican establishment despise her. She doesn't do the "go along to get along" thing. She was certainly not afraid to go after Obama when the establishment candidates like Romney were treading lightly.

I would far rather have her as Speaker than Boehner.

I read everyone of your posts, and enjoy 99% of your commentary, i believe you are one of the most intelligent posters on this site, thats why i can never understand why you stick up for bachmann or palin. Did the two of them get rail roaded by liberals? sure. that doesnt change the fact that they are both morons.

For the life of me i cant understand why a guy as smart as you would choose to throw his hat in the ring with those two complete morons.

I gotta back Max up on this. Yes, they are attacked by all the hypocrites on the left who supposedly defend women and want to empower them. I think we all know the left doesn't really give two shits about women, children, blacks, hispanics, jews, etc. That's all a ruse. But just because the left attacks them doesn't change the fact that both their IQ's combined are less then 100. That's a serious problem. The fact that neither one of them could pass an 8th grade history course is another problem. The fact both these women scream about small government while wanting to double the size of our military is quite frankly embarrassing. I will give Palin some credit that she does not support the war on drugs but I've never heard her say she would actually end it if she could.

Regarding the church and drugs. The church collectively in this country has probably helped more addicts and protected them then all the hospitals combined. I have no idea what religion has to do with drugs. Isn't alcohol a drug? Don't churches still pour wine at communion? LOL.

BTW, I don't have an issue if someone wants to double the size of our military. That's their postilion. That's fine. Just stop screaming about big government and how bad our debt is while advocating for this huge expense.

Joe Biden makes Palin and Bachmann look like Rhodes scholar geniuses.

When the bible talks about witchcraft, the Greek word is pharmakia,( i didn't look up the Greek spelling, but it's something like that) and it is mind altering drugs. That's what the church has to do with addicts.

And the gov'ts job is defense. It's not redistribution. Spending on defense is what the gov't is supposed to do. Not that i condone defense spending on nation building. I don't condone that.

My problem with Palin and Bachmann is they will cave when the pressure is too great. I have no use for so called conservatives who cave on the issues of gravest importance.

If the Constitution party has anyone on the ballot, they get my vote.

Now that Congress has continued funding the NSA spying operation on Americans, they are demanding that Internet providers turn over our passwords. They can then log into our accounts and pose as us online in addition to having access to more of our personal information. Where does this stop?

At least my Congressman voted for the Defense Bill Amendment to defund the NSA spying program. How about yours?

BTW, more Democraps voted to defund the program than Republicans. Shameful.

  8. I don't want to be patronizing, but I don't think you fully appreciate how much your assessment of them is colored by the media. Can you name a single conservative woman the media has portrayed in a positive light? A single one? Barbara Bush maybe? She's not even conservative.

We had Hillary Clinton as Secretary of state. Any honest evaluation of her performance would put it among the worst in history. We undermined the govenrment of Egypt and installed radical muslim brotherhood thugs, not surprising since her chief aide, Huma Weiner, is neck deep in the brotherhood through family. We blundered into Libya and created an unstable situation that bled over into other parts of north africa, eg Mali. We had the Benghazi catastrophe that, in vintage Hillary fashion, she lied through her teeth about, denied responsibility, then made the offensive putdown that "what does it mattter" .. It maters to the parents of the dead.

That's just the tip of the iceberg, yet the media absolutely gushed over her reign. Your average low information voter thinks, "well, I didn't like her at first when Bill Clinton came in, but she has shown herself to be very capable and trustworthy."

So I have a lot of respect for the media's ability to brainwash people.

The idea that Bachmann is some moron is ridiculous. I don't agree with her on several items, but she is thoughtful and she has a backbone of titanium, unlike Speaker Weepy.

At the end of the day politics is unsatisfying because it is the art of the possible, not a search for perfection. Ronald Reagan had faults. Bachmann and Palin have faults and positions I disagree with, but they have character and integrity. They don't play to the media and they aren't afraid to stand up to the boys on K Street.

You can't read the document in the video. "Shaky Cam" movies make me ill anyhow. Have you a link to that info in a readable format?

I got really disgusted with american politics decades ago when I learned that Senators can change the Senate record. They can, and do, vote on the floor and change the record before anybody gets a copy of it. I don't think we have any way to really know how an individuals' vote went unless somebody goes there and makes their own database of all the votes as they happen.
